Fatal Mistake: Built legs prematurely on the Bandai SD Set 1

I glued the wrong/standard parts on the legs.  So I only had super parts for 2 SDs.

I can make one more Super style SD from this set.

You should be able to unglue them by putting the parts in the freezer and then "popping" the joint open.

Thanks but, Tamiya uses acetone to melt and fuse parts together.

Well, one possibility is to carefully score along the seams. If that's not an option, then I'm out of ideas.

Anyone else got any ideas here?

Ya scoring along the seems maybe. Definitely  dremel with a cutting wheel. Big mess, heavy repair. Depends how bad you wanna change it..

Hobby saw might work?

Or grab an old SD kit and get the replacement parts there.

The razor saw is a good idea! One of these saws and the handle they show below will work. Then just sand your seems before gluing. Hopefully that helps - MT
