Moosey Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 Well, this the first time I had a major breakage on a 1/60 V2 VF-1 in a long time. So will Tamiya extra thin plastic cement be best for fixing this? Sorry dude, same happened to my Max 1A. I used plastic weld to fix it. It's held so far.

Interesting, so this breakage has happened on someone else's VF-1 copy. I wonder if the plastic just wasn't molded correctly or maybe it was just poorly handled at the factory. Which shop did you guy bought it from? I don't think the Tamiya thin-cement can secure it properly, but you can try.

SuperHobo Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 After two attempts of glueing the two halves together, it's holding on the 2nd try. There will be a scar across the neck piece, but at least it's holding.
