Effect Posted December 16, 2003 Posted December 16, 2003 I have the original game and the first exspansion SoU. Its an okay game. I'm not interested in checking out the last version though. I'll wait till the price goes down. I'm not really big on PC rpgs, perfer consoles RPG games to be honest.

Effect Posted December 17, 2003 Posted December 17, 2003 I usually played as a Paladin or Ranger. I can't stand casters in it though. Having to rest a lot in order to regain spells. Can't use swords so I suck at melee combat. Unless you are playing with others casters are usually a no go when you play the single player.

twich Posted December 17, 2003 Posted December 17, 2003 Yeah, I play...I have played a Dwarf Fighter in both the original game and the expansion....I have played through most of it with my group of friends online. I am waiting a bit to get the latest expansion, but I am excited to. Larry

I'm playing the first expansion with a straight up wizard (having both a familiar and being able to summon makes for almost a full party when you add in the henchman you get). I'll have to get a new PC if I want to play the second one though, it appears.
