So there is a Birkoff Squad & a Reeman Squad?.... and an Unknown Red Shoulder squad? That's going to be expensive in the Hi-Metal R line!!! Bring it on! 🤗 and a Vorct Squad!? 😱 Quote

In the Origins/Roots of Ambition ova, Reeman's Squad uses regular AT-STs with 6-tube missile launcher and a custom spike weapon for Reeman's AT-ST. In the Unknown Red Shoulder ova, Gregore's squad uses a 7-tube missile launcher on their ST-TCs In Pailsen Files ova, Berkoff's squad uses a 12-tube missile launcher in both their regular army AT-STs and their ISS Black ST-TCs. Both have the updated biceps-detail, too. It'll be very impressive if Bandai can produce and sell the complete Pailsen Files ATs this time around in HMR, instead of just the regular AT-ST and Ground Fatty from their old 1/20 model kit line. Takara completed the Pailsen Files ATs in their Actic Gear line, in contrast... Quote

The "Erdspinne" grunts definitely should've been alot darker that I kinda question Takara's Toyrise-mindset a bit since all their previous Votoms lines all have had anime-correct colors. Which then brings me to this, uhh, abomination: 3 hours ago, lechuck said: https://www.taghobby.com/archives/919262 Erdspinne Titania Machine Ver. (Takara Tomy Mall Exclusive) What and why the ever-mudder-f*ck is that hideously pink coloring??? Titania's Erdspinne was quite a nice light/drab purple yam in the Alone Again ova: Hopefully that's not the final product and that Takara regain their proper coloring-sense again before release... /facepalm add/edit: btw, here's the official Takara page for it: https://takaratomymall.jp/shop/g/g4904810082736/ Edited yesterday at 12:13 AM by treatment added ova snaps Quote

I find that Takara is way too bright on most of their V.O.T.O.M. AT's, the Erdspinne (Dirt-Spider) is only slightly darker then the X-ATH-11C Order Buckler went it should be much darker! Bandai in most parts, adheres to the AT Colour guide that was published by Wave over 25 years ago, and is an excellent source reference material, in what colours should be used. the AT-Truck as well was way too bright then that was shown on screen for a brief moment.... It makes them too toy like, which was always a problem I had with Takara! While Bandai's colour matching in the Hi-Metal R line has been almost perfect! Although the (RSC) should be darker then the regular ATM-09-ST That's why I decided to take the newly released Scopedog and make it into my (RSC) since it's darker then the (RSC) that was released! I would recommend the AT Color Materials, that Wave published if you wan't a good colour reference! a quick shoot for reference.... Edited yesterday at 09:13 AM by grogall Quote
grogall Posted yesterday at 01:49 PM Posted yesterday at 01:49 PM (edited) Hobby Japan Web has published the Hi-Res images of the Bandai HI-METAL R ATM-09-GC Brutishdog, as well as the sketches to the ATH-Q64 Berserga WP. The "HI-METAL R Brutish Dog" is set for release! Furthermore, design data for the Berserga has been revealed! Check out the option sets currently available for pre-order! [Armored Trooper Votoms] Brutish Dog Release Announced!! The Complete HI-METAL R V.O.T.O.M. Series: A Masterpiece Born from Refinement!! "HI-METAL," the pioneer of high-end, pre-assembled robot figures launched in the 1980s, has been succeeded by "HI-METAL R," and one of its main items is from "Armored Trooper Votoms." Starting with the Scope Dog Red Shoulder Custom released in 2024, there are currently eight models in the lineup, including those scheduled for release. like the HI-METAL R Scopedog (MELQUIYAN FORCES) unit too release in June. The characteristics of "HI-METAL R" ATs are that they are pre-assembled and, as the name "METAL" suggests, they use metal parts to achieve reliable articulation. Furthermore, each AT comes with an articulated pilot figure, allowing for play combining the AT with a human. In addition, the ATM-09-GC Brutish Dog, which was displayed as a reference exhibit at "TAMASHII NATION 2025" last year, has also been confirmed for release!! With the ATH-Q64 Berserga WP also in development, even greater expansion of the series can be expected in the future. For information on new HI-METAL R releases other than "Votoms," please see "HI-METAL R Frontline!" in the May 2026 issue of "Monthly Hobby Japan." Don't miss it!! ▲Rear view of the ATM-09-GC Brutish Dog (painted prototype). The PRSP Mission pack on the back has markings. Also, spare magazines can be seen stocked on the waist. Compared to the HI-METAL R, ATM-09-ST Scopedog. The changes are extensive, including not only the colouring, but also the gatling gun on the right arm, markings, the mission pack on the back, and the gliding wheels on the legs. The ATH-Q64 Berserga WP was on display as a reference exhibit at "TAMASHII NATION 2025". Please note that this is only design data, and the specifications may change in the final product. We will report on the specifications, included figures, and other details as soon as they become available in "HI-METAL R Frontline!". (Composition and text: Genki Ikeda, Koji Igarashi [TARKUS]) So I take it we will have the official reveal for the ATM-09-GC Brutish Dog very soon! April reveal with a November release.... I also take it since it doesn't came with very many accessories, it should be cheaper then most releases but the could add two versions of Fyana to make it interesting!? Really looking forward to the unit! 🤗 Edited 10 hours ago by grogall Quote
