grogall Posted Monday at 08:27 AM Posted Monday at 08:27 AM (edited) Another Video review of the new Scopedog! Translation from the inside of the box! Episode (02 Uoodo) 22:18 "The warmth I had felt was coming back to me, and I felt as if I was being held by my mother, and before I knew it, I had fallen asleep. The place had a familiar smell to it... All I could feel was the cold, iron-like skin on my hands." Edited Monday at 09:55 AM by grogall Quote
grogall Posted Monday at 09:40 AM Posted Monday at 09:40 AM Hobby Japan Web has a nice article on how to weather a Scopedog model using new weathering pencils, from company AK... Probably a good technique that can be used on the H-Metal R series! 😉 Quote

I haven’t bought the expensive AK ones, but cheap full sets of colors are easily available on Amazon and art shops. Quote

grogall Posted Monday at 04:07 PM Posted Monday at 04:07 PM (edited) Nice! Liked that they released the complete (RSC) first and then later a regular Scopedog unlike Yamato, which released a Scopedog first then a month later the (RSC) which only had a red shoulder as a difference, then a month after that the (RSC) with Chirico, and later all the (RSC) armourments again as separate release! At least we got the full experience right away and can chose if we want the this Scopedog or not! but not really missing out if you decide to skip it! Graham Posted yesterday at 06:38 AM Posted yesterday at 06:38 AM Wow, I didn't realise that Yamato had released so many Scopedog toys. At the time I didn't really pay much attention to their Votoms releases. 😅 Quote
jenius Posted yesterday at 06:44 AM Posted yesterday at 06:44 AM There's a lot of very minor variation in that Yamato release list though, especially coming from an era when there were next to no markings painted on the toys. Quote
grogall Posted yesterday at 09:39 AM Posted yesterday at 09:39 AM Well just ordered my second unit from Mandarake for 15,000 yen, at least they ship quickly! Quote
grogall Posted yesterday at 11:35 AM Posted yesterday at 11:35 AM Cool! Have fun with it! Mine, will arrive end of this week! are you going to open it or keep it sealed? Since you already have the (RSC). Quote

Since you already have the (RSC). I'll keep it in the box until the Melkia Scopedog is released and then I'll use the Parachute Pack from that to put on this one. Quote
