No just saw it on X (Twitter) but without comments, If I see more I'll post it! But one way or other I'm sure we will be seeing this officially from Bandai someday...

I just wish Bandai would hurry up with releasing expansion sets for the Hi Metal R scopedogs.  So far, there is just the 1 set announced. 😅

By comparison, Bandai has already released 8 expansion sets for the HG Scopedog models.

Diffrent devisions, différent stratégie. The HG line for the prise, probably sells ten times more then the Hi-Metal R Line, Besides it has to have more detailing then the 1/35 model kits. If they actually cooperate is another question? I think they killed their 1/20 model line since it might interfere with the HMline in sales! I think they wanted to release complete units in the HMR Line at the beginning to show that that they can give the collector the complete experience, and not have to chase down expansion packs, which they are known for not rereleasing.

I just wish they didn't include the base with the first expansion pack since this seems to be the most expensive part of that set! other weapons or side armaments would have been more preferable. I don't really like the bases that Bandai releases, the seem to be an afterthought!

@Graham Have you picked up all of the 5 HMR V.O.T.O.M.S so far?

Yep, I've got: all five HMR releases so far. Here's what I've got:

1x Red Shoulder Custom (kinda regret not buying a second one when it was released).

2x Turbo Custom (my favorite Scopedog variant).

1x Scopedog in Space.

1x Blood Sucker.

1x Fatty.

And I've got 1 each of the Melkian Scopedog and weapons set on pre-order. Oh, and the standard Scopedog with the plated joints that's being released next month, nearly forgot about that,😅

Definitely more of a heavy class. It looks like it's gonna tower over a standard Scopedog.

Hope we get an HMR of it

......SNIP.....

Cool! Someone else who is all in!

By the way Nin-Nin games has a really good price on the RSC for ¥16,940 which is a steal, at that price!

I can confirm that they are brand new sealed boxes! I bought three from them.

Funny that you like the STTC the most because it's actually my least favourite unit! Although it looks great as a squad!

The RSC is still my favourite with Bloodsucker and Fanya's Space Assault unit close behind then FATTY.

although I like all of them and wouldn't want to do without any of the releases so far.  and looking forward to the Brutishdog the most from the upcoming releases!

Great that after 40 years we finally get a first class series! 🤗

Well happy collecting 🤪

Currently re-watching the TV series and  OVAs. It's about 15 or so years since I last watched the TV series.

Actually I haven't even seen some of the newer OVAs before.

I don’t know, kinda looks like a somewhat standard lower body and the upper kinda looks proportional height wise for a modified Scopedog, but a wider look with much bigger arms. The gun kinda looks similar to the berserga  and gives a smaller kind of look to this A.T., so it may height wise be pretty similar to a basic scopedog, but I don’t think it would be a fun fight in hand to hand combat for the other pilot with those gorilla arms. I guess we’ll find out if the height stats are listed

Hobby Japan Web has a nice overview of the new 1:24 Wave STTC! I received the Wave RSC kit last week and must say it's quite nice! The detailing is very com-parable to the Hi-Meta R figures in detail! Some features are more detailed on the Wave kit while others are a little nicer on the HMR versions, of course Bandai still has the upper hand since everything is tamp-printed and have metal joints and feat for posing.... 😉

Make sure to post the progress on the kit in the workbench section. I’d love to see how it goes together. Personally I really only have space for the 1/35 kits these days and passed on the big brother, but still would like to see it built

Oh no, that's a completely different market.  Bandai routinely releases Robot Spirits and RG model kits concurrently (even though they're the same scale), 'cause some like to make models and some like to collect completed action figures.

Furthermore, 1:20 Scopedog models are more than twice the size of the HMRs (even though they cost half as much). 😅

The Hi-Metal R Scopedog will release February 21, 2026..... A week after we should know what the next release is!? 🤗

My bet is the next Hi-Metal R announced will be the Brutishdog.

However, I'd quite like either a Diving Beetle or Standing Turtle / Standing Tortoise.  I'm currently rewatching the Kummen arc of the TV series. 😅

A Marshydog would also be OK.

However, my number 1 most wanted AT is still the Burglarydog, closely followed by a ground type Fatty.

This would be the most logical! But the Berserga WP looked like it was further along! after all they have been working on it for almost 6 years! 🤣

But a ATM-09-WR Marshydog could also be next to start of the Kummen arc. They do sometimes like to surprise us in-between releases like they did with the

ATM-09-ST (Space Assault) version which was never shown with the Turbo Custom and Bloodsucker although it was released between them!

But I'm sure we will know by the end of next month! 🤗

Ah, I'd completely forgot they had shown the Berserga WP previously.

So, I just did some web searching to remind myself and saw these pics on Facebook and X from Tamashii Nation 2020 of Hi-Metal R ATM-09-WR Marshydog, ATH-06-WP Diving Beetle, ATH-Q64 Berserga WP.

Bandai gave the impression that they were kinda following the HMR VOTOMS release-cycle via the tv/ova arcs sequence:

Uoodo arc:  RSC

Last Red Shoulder ova: TC and Bloodsucker

Kumen arc: Marshy, Berserga, Beetle

Then, after some big delay bordering on line-cancellation,  they released TC and Bloodsucker but went on and upended the scheduling by following it up with the Space Dog and Space Fatty instead, which was in the Space Arc following Kumen.

Furthermore, they've only recently revealed the Brutishdog alongside the Regular and Melquiya Dogs, which are in the Uoodo arc. The Round-Mover being in a separate accessory pack now.

Conspicously still missing are the Snapping Turtle and the Snapping Tortoise reveals (Kumen arcs).

So Bandai just gonna keep on Bandai'ing...

I did mention the first prototype release back in November, actually a day before they showed us the next upcoming releases!

I guess they were setting up the display while I was writing about the 5th anniversary of introducing us the the Hi-Metal R V.O.T.O.M.S. line 🤣

But ja, the Beserga WP was finally intruduced as an upcoming release...

I'm not a huge fan of the Berserga WP, but I gotta admit, it does looks pretty nice in that most recent pic and I'll defintely pick up one when it's released.

Just hope they also gave the Berserga WP the same kind of cockpit treatment they gave the B-ATM-03 FATTY! 🤗 which was a nice surprise!

I'm sure it's not an official image but one that was taken and done up from the short preview that was posted! We won't have the final design until the OVA is released!?

But it looks good so-far, Just also hope that the final version gets a quick release in the Hi-Metal R line! 🤗

Translation is from (Google)

Introduction of the armament example of "HI-METAL R Scope Dog Armed Option Set"!! We deliver various display methods with "Scopedog" that is about to be released and "Melquiyan Military Equipment" that will be soon available!

Strengthen the scope dog with the "HI-METAL R Scope Dog Armed Option Set"!!

This time, I tried to install the accessories of the "Armament Option Set for Scope Dog" without daring to stick to the settings using the "Scope Dog Melquiyan Military Equipment" and "HI-METAL R Scopedog".

Now, let's review each product. Currently, "HI-METAL R Scope Dog Melquiyan Military Equipment" and "HI-METAL R Scope Dog Armed Option Set" compatible with Scope Dog are being ordered as items for sale at the Soul Web Store. " The GAT-35 Long Gun is included as a new model, part for the "Scope Dog Melquiyan Military Equipment". Other ATP-BP1-ST Parachute Rucksack is also included. " The "Armament Option Set for Scopedogs" can be used as an armament part for various Scopedogs of the HI-METAL R series.

Scope Dog Melquiya Army Equipment + Round Mover. The round mover is equipped with a movable mechanism, and you can hold the huge GAT-35 Long Gun with both arms while wearing ATP-BP1-ST Parachute Rucksack or ATC-BR1-S Round Mover.

3 items of weapon are on display. The CHIRICO CUVIE figure attached to the HI-METAL R scope dog (left) also comes with a head wearing a helmet. " In addition to weapons, the series logo that can be attached to the pedestal is included in the armed option set for Scopedogs" (center). On the right is "Melquiya Army Equipment", with an action figure of Melquiya Army soldiers who can be placed inside.

Scopedog Melquiya Military Equipmen + ATC-BR1-S Round Mover + SAT-03 Solid Shooter Bazooka + GAT-49min, 50mm Pentatrooper. The weapon can be attached to both left and right arms, so you can enjoy a two-shot pistol-like display here!

*Some notes: The GAT-35 Long Gun is still a prototype and I read somewhere that the barrel cover will be reshaped and on a hinge so it can be opened or closed.

I Honestly think the Gat-22/C Rifle should have been included with the Melquiya unit since it was shown using it in the pilot episode!

So we have another Mech Month!

Although the release is not that super important, if you already have the first release (RSC) but it puts the series back on store shelves since it's also a retail release.

and we also get a package with new Tenjin artwork, but wander if the rear of the package also has the see though window?

Like I said not really sure what the objective is, in changing how the metal joints are coated when they go back to the old way on the following release!?

They could have just given it a different unit # other then 36, to make it  more interesting! But you do get an extra set of hands that was not included with the (RSC)!

Since the first release was March 23, 2024 this will close up the 2 year mark with six releases, with some really nice Mechs, and we already know what

this year should contain... It's been expensive but interesting. and really happy about how the series is progressing!
