MechTech
With Hasagawa you never know. I've got several of their "conventional" kits and they re-release and even re-tool the mold and re-release. One thing I've learned, if you can find it now, buy it now or regret it later! You know there's nothing that special about the M&M set, just buy two 1-J kits and paint them the correct color.
honneamise
IMO it is even better to get 2 regular VF-1J kits, they have all the decals for M&M as well (e.g. all stencils are there in white to fit to the red/blue surfaces) and they come in white plastic - easier to paint than the kits in the sets which are molded in blue and grey. What I don´t know is if the re-issue VF-1 A/J/S kits have the correct decals as well, but the older "1-J only" kit should be easier to get than the 2-set. Spatula
One thing I've learned, if you can find it now, buy it now or regret it later! 363320 True...Soooo true... 363601 Which is why I recently blew off close to $200 just on Macross kits from HLJ on top of the previous $200. I ordered 2 more of the weapons sets, just in case, as well as the #17 Valk Strike Valk, AND more of the VF-1As... just love em. Jesus, why oh WHY didn't I know about HLJ like 3-4 years ago. DAMN. I'm still pretty pissed at having to spend 4 times the regular price for the Patlabor kits. And now who knew the Command Car would be such a pain in the ass to find. And I thought Valkyrie Profile was something "hard to find" on eBay. >_> Also, it looks like the Tachikoma kits from WAVE are April-restock. Guess who pushed it that for? HEHEHEHEE.......
