From what I understand, from my experience, Overdrive has to get in contact with Yamato and request every part that they want for warranty/breakage. Considering they probably want to do the orders in a bulk quantity, for shipping on their end, it's probably not so bad. I had to wait 3 weeks before they got in contact with me. It sucks and I wish they would have gotten in contact sooner or at least say that they got my email and it would be processed but....where else is anyone outside of Japan going to get replacement parts for breakages? I am just glad that we have this! It's a hell of allot cheaper than buying a new Valk. Note: On any order, besides these replacement parts, I have never had to wait more than 1-3 days for something to ship from them. Not bad at all considering timezones, out of country credit checks, etc.

I think that anyone here who picks up some 1/60 valks from Yamato would at least pickup a 1/60 Glaug and Reguld, if Yamato did them, right? I mean you need something to go with all your 1/60 valks besides detroids. EDIT: Besides, the destoids must be selling well (look at all the color schemes they are selling) and if people buy destroids you know damn well they will buy Zentradi battle pods!

They shipped the flexis with the wrong screws I believe. I've been waiting for my stands forever from Lost and Founds Toys because they where waiting for replacement screws to arrive. They tell me that they will finally ship next week! I can't wait!

All I got was white stickers. I borrowed some from the defender sheet to add some other decals that I wanted. Sucks that your heel broke off. I don`t think I have that problem on mine but I will check them on Monday and let you know. Have you possibly found the Destroid`s achillies heel!? Somebody had to say it! Try an opoxy like J-B weld. I find it works miracles for striped screw holes. If the screw is stripped to try using a new screw if you can find one cause you want to use a good screw to retap the hole.

Yeah the articulation is crazy (and makes it worth the price IMO)! Note that they aren't propped up by anything! Also I am noticing that after a little while the ankles are getting a little loose but as long as it balances it holds to pose.

I sent my requests in December and they just got back to me yesterday (Jan 28). Once they confirm my credit card (which they will only use because I have ordered through them before) they will ship the parts. So hopefully I will see them by the end of next week. FYI I think the preferred payment method is Paypal.

I could stand to see less versions of VF-1s in exchange for more destroids and dare I say it?!?! A 1/60 Reguld and even a 1/60 Glaug! After all whats the point in having all these 1/60 VF-1s without something for them to fight? Besides I am getting alittle tired of hanger scene Dioramas. (no I'm not!)

I got confirmation on 1 order (the one that didn't screw up) so hopefully the other won't go through. I have been sending emails to them for the past few days asking them to cancel the other one but I have gotten no reply. Note: that when it crashed during that Mastercard online security page I believe that it did say that the order would be on hold till I contact them to confirm my credit card. Since it was Thursday night and I did not want to dick around for a few days waiting for them to answer my email I just ordered it again and started sending them emails to cancel the other order. If I do end up with 2 I guess i'll keep them but at that price I could have gotten another destroid and a VF-1D or a VF-1 and a VF-1 (max). Crap who am I kidding I think my next order with be a VF-1D, a VF-1A (max DYRL) and a VF-1J super........unless I hear about a Spartan destoid coming out in the next few months......god this is getting bad.

I need to recover from the YF-21 I just bought! I want a VF-1D so bad, but I know how you feel!

Anyone ever order from Angolz before? Ordered on Friday and I am still waiting for it to ship and too hear back on a problem with my order. I think I might have accidentally ordered twice as the master card authentication page crashed on me during the first order. It had said the transaction was not completed so I redid the order and then when I went to check it said that I had made 2 separate orders. Crap I hate ordering stuff online sometimes.

I think once we have a few more versions out we can convert this thread to a "How Many Do You Have Now?", not?

If anyone finds some closeup pics of the TV version VF-1A head can they post them? I want to see how that, what appears to be, seam line looks going down the middle of the head. Trying to decide if I want a couple DYRL or TV versions and while I am a pretty much indifferent to the paint scheme (except battroid mode, kind of) I will buy the one with the better head. So far I really like how the DYRL VF-1A's black cowling hides it from the pics. But then I do like the paint job, of the TV version, better in battroid mode. Damn. So many versions so little money!

Yeah the more I look at them the more 1/60 VF-1s I want. Good thing I don't plan on buying any of those Bandai VF-25s! I just don't like how it looks in Gerwalk mode. Crap in a perfect world I would buy VF-1A Hayao Kakizaki (TV and DYRL) - I should really only get one of these VF-1A Max (TV and DYRL) - I should really only get one of these VF-1D VF-1T Elint??? VF-1J (Hic Super Version) and a VF-1J Max and Mira, I should be able to live without the Max and Mira but then they haven't posted a release for these yet..... VF-1S (ROY Strike Version) So thats 10.......... ........this is going to turn into a very bad habit. If I buy 10 of these I have no excuse for not buying a VF-11B........ ......

Yeah but that black cowling really helps to hide the seam line on the head.

So now it looks like we will have TV and DYRL versions of the VF-1A for Max and Kakizaki. So that will bring the VF-1A total to 5 instead of 3 which means it could be possible to hit squadron status and not have duplicates in the 1/60. I edited the orginal post to try to reflect this.

Just thought I'd add the other pics. Great now I'll have to buy a this one, a VF-1A (Max), a VF-1J(H) and the VF-1D..... ......to go with my VF-1S. Although I do have to admit I like the look of the heads on the DYRL versions better. That black cowling around "face" looks better IMO. EDIT: Also how do you get your pics to post "full" or close to full instead of preview images reduced to 90%? I know it's probably simple I am just not seeing it.

If they really are under $20US a piece I might order 1 or 2 with my next valk order to try them out. Hopefully my flexi stands ship this week......

I have VF-1S with Strike parts and both shoulders are cracked. Now hopefully Overdrive will get back to me sometime on replacements (thank God for this at least!). Now that I have loosened those ball joints I think it will help to prevent future cracking. Still love the toy though. Question: For those of you who got replacement shoulders from Overdrive, can you tell us how long it took from you submitting the email to getting it processed?

I always wanted a VF-0 and YF-19 so I broke down last year and bought them (with the intention of only buying them)....it has now quickly spiraled into a VF-1S, a YF-22, 2 destroids and now plans to by a VF-1D and VF-1A (Max) (Oh and a Spartan if they ever bring one out) within the space of a year (shoulder problems and all). So yeah I guess I can now consider it a habit, just like my amazon scifi/fantasy book habit....... .......Och! . Here's hoping "Tom Clancy's HAWX" and "Star Ocean:The Last Hope" sucks so I don't have to buy them!
