  1. Well the entire Avenger film is getting the Figma treatment. http://www.tomopop.com/wonder-festival-2012-summer-figma-avengers-assemble-26215.phtml
  2. That scene was pure emo. Oh yes, the ultimate mutant soldier and genius billionaire change their minds to save the world when seeing blood on the cards. LOL Ok... Let me rephrase myself, Avengers is life boost for emo kids.
  3. Bud, it was a super boost for emo-kids. The way the whole Avenger team went all petty and emo on each other. LOL The scene with the blood on the cards, Lol, totally emo.
  4. LOL. I wonder what they put in your pop-corn. Then again I'm also in the minority that the Avengers was a action comedy for emo kids.
  5. I think Kotobukiya products are fantastic. Sure, Bandai's kits are from another world, but then again who can really compete with them. There have been a few misses with Koto's anime figures, but hell Bandai also doesn't have such a great record there. So judging them on unpainted plastic kits, and the few odd figures, is rather miss-leading. As for the plastic being softer than Bandai's? Then what is Hasegawa's Macross line? The amount of cleaning and filling of those kits was insane, yet still awesome when finished. And Bandai makes playable kits. Kotobukiya makes kits for the traditional modeller.
  6. http://figuremaniac.blogspot.com/2012/07/14th-acghk-2012-day-1-part-j-tdkr-bane.html
  7. Please, let's not infect Batman with that horrifying Basara cancer that's ruined Macross.
  8. Thanks BeyondTheGrave, didn't see that pic first.
  9. Watched it again. And loved it. All the answers to my previous questions are in the film. Just took some carefull attention and getting out of the spoon feeding story telling of common meh films. It's a brilliant film. And after solving all the motives is now one of my all time favorites.
  10. That's the case, then I agree with 505thAirbourne about not fully committing themselves. Hopefully they'll change their minds and give us more than just flashbacks.
  11. That would be awesome. Well how things are going, there's a chance we might to see the Skidder's original form and their world too?
  12. I too would love to see it. When it comes to money however, even Spielberg wants a gaurantee on returns. As for BSG, yeah, but it was at a diffirent time of the economy and diffirent producers. As well their big invasion scenes on planets only came in from season 3 and onwards, once the show established itself. (If I remember correctly?) As well BSG already had a established fanbase that swoop up DVD's, which is really TV's series markering radar.
  13. Avengers Coulson figure announced. Those Chituari guys... And the big one, a 1/4 scale Batman. All will be fully revealed at this week's Ani-Con. http://www.toyark.com/news/general-toy-news-49/hot-toys-previews-new-avengers-and-dark-knight-rises-figures-6198/
  14. But Bane in the comic book world had a Spanish accent.
  15. Di Caprio will be a good Alfred when he's old.
  16. It's about budget guys. This is a TV show. Look at how much Game Of Thrones sacrificed with omitted battles in season 1, and only once it got popular, was that blank check given for season 2. I'll rather they not show it if it's of restricted quality.
  17. I agree. Begins was the best Gotham all round. TDK had the best villain though. Valid points. Slightly OT. But in 1986, there's a Batman comic book by Frank Miller, where Batman is retired, and has a guy with red hair shooting people in a cinema.
  18. They could of just shown the Joker as CGI in a Arkham cell, and final twist he escapes at the end for the new forces to pursue? Problem solved, full circle to Joker as well. Have you seen stunt driving, military test ops, Top gear and other shows in that line... It's very possible. Well most of the convicts probably wanted to redeem themselves, as well they were against armed guards, and most likely crippled by the fear of such a situation. Here I can't argue. You're very right.
  19. Agreed. Nolan wanted a more physical foe for the last film, keeping it in contrast from Ras and Joker. Riddler is too much like the Joker playing mind games and never been a character that would take on the entire city. As well it would have risked to flop against Heath's performance. Here I agree with Nolan. DiCaprio? No thanks. If they did the Riddler as a secondary villain, then please Depp.
  20. Best device on his belt. But hey, at least we got that Batroachwing vacuum cleaner thingy.
  21. It's very odd, as clearly I think a Macross 0 might sell more than Macross 7?
  22. Just finished last night's episode of Season 2. And just wow! Season may have started slow, but the momentum in character development and plot spread is captivating. So sad it's underrated by the general public.
