  1. I'll wait for it when it gets release. I think this one has a lot more chance for it being available when it comes out compared to the YF-29 Ozma. To me the availability of this would be like the RVF-25 or the most VF-25A.
  2. The price jump up at Amazon JP as well to 20k Yen now. I think a week ago it was about 18k Yen. It's still cheaper than NY mark up price on their pre-order last year of 22k Yen. Here's hoping for the VF-25G and VF-25S reissue this year.
  3. Yup down for one. I am guessing Tamashii exclusive since it's from their website as well. If normal release, I don't think this will sell out and probably can be picked up at retail or less after release.
  4. The demand will be in the Japan market. If the demand is strong over there, then the price will be high. I don't think there are many people out there who must buy all and multiples. They will select and choose. So things like the VF-25F/S will sell well. The VF-25F was easier to get probably due to it being a reissue, and those in Japan who already had one, couldn't be bothered getting another. The YF-29 Ozma is not in the TV or movie, but it's Ozma, so will be interesting to see whether the demand is high for it. If you didn't get it at a good price for preorder, I would think it will be best to just wait now. NY current price, I am guessing that price will still be available upon release unless demand for it is crazy.
  5. Of course it will be available but at what price. NY will for sure have them on hand. Also nobody have the numbers produced by Bandai so you can't really compare on how much production have increased. The last few releases should not be compared to the YF-29 Ozma. VF-171 and VF-25A are canon fodder. YF-29 Isamu are made to order. VF-27 and RVF-25 are not Ozma or Alto. VF-25F was a reissue and did sell well, but was not as hard to get. Bandai have not reissued the VF-25S yet, and those wanting an Ozma valk might jump at the YF-29. We might be surprised by the demand. Just have to wait and see.
  6. I will consider holding on to it since in the past, some overseas retailers got burned and unable to meet their preorders due to them not getting the stock they ordered for. Because of that, a lot of overseas retailers no longer take preorders. If your local seller is sure of getting the stock in, then I guess should be okay.
  7. I got a bad feeling this one if you don't managed to secure one from the normal retailers, it will be more than retail at places like NY and Amazon JP. I am sure we will see it pop up again from HLJ, Amiami, HS at retail or less either before or after release date, just how long it will last when they do.
  8. Registered airmail or Registered SAL? From my experience over here in Australia, airmail or SAL can take as short as 1 week to as long as over 4 weeks. Normally it will be here in 2-3 weeks. Airmail slightly faster between 1-2 weeks, while SAL normally about 2-4 weeks.
  9. It's like Amazon marketplace. Will depend on the shop you are buying from. I have bought a few items from there before with no issues. However, not all will accept credit card. Amazon JP is easier to shop with. Yup, it will be available at NY and Amazon JP. But the price depends on quantity produced. With Amazon JP, you need to keep an eye through the day when it's released. Some retailers will be happy to list them at retail when it comes out but if there are not many, they will be gone fast. If sales are not good after maybe 1-2 weeks, you may start to see prices falling.
  10. NY only limit one for the initial first round at retail or less. After first round there is no limit.
  11. The YF-29 30th Anniversary is not to say that easy to get. It was hard to secure one from the main retailers like HLJ, Amiami or Hobby Search for the reissue. NY first mark up was not too bad, then they push it up more. I got burned with that one as I bought one after release from them, to have them drop in price a day after. Their drop price was still above retail. Easy to get releases would be the VF-171, RVF-25 and VF-27 which constantly pop up at major retailers and still available over at Amazon JP below retail.
  12. Agree. I remember the VF-25F, jack up price was like 21,000 Yen from a retail of 14,000 Yen. This one is 18,300 Yen from a retail of 17,000 Yen. It's not that bad, and at least you have enough time to get a preorder in unlike other places selling below retail.
  13. Availability later on will all depends on how many Bandai produce. With the past releases, I got a feeling Bandai over produced, resulting in places like Amiami and Hobby Search being able to offer stock after released date. To me, if you really want this, better be safe to have one pre-ordered than not. If you don't really care, then must as well take the chances later on. NY price is actually decent unlike some of their other mark up from prior released. Perhaps they got burned badly and learned their lesson.
  14. Yay! Got my order in. Now don't have to stalk the sites.
  15. It's a new valk and it's a hero valk. Demand will be higher. All depends on the quantity Bandai will produce. I am sure there's is no problem getting one at release, but at what price. Just have to see if you can't secure a pre-order.
  16. I guess the diffrence is that Isamu was an exclusive so kinda made to order and probably some places ordered more and some had cancellations. Supply will equal demand. Those people who wanted it would already preorder it. So demand after that for excess stock will not be that great as compared to a regular release. Regular release pre-order sells out fast so demand is greater than supply at pre-order. It will depends on Bandai on the quantity they produce. If they produce a lot more, then chances you can get it at retail or lower at release. VF-25F is selling above retail but this is a second release. VF-25A is about retail at the moment. RVF-25, VF-171 and VF-27 Super are the ones that are not selling well. But given that recent release have not been selling well, Bandai could possibly reduce the number produce, and may just do a second batch like the 30th Anniversary YF-29 to meet demand.
  17. I got it in my cart but couldn't check out. Just hope next batch is at the same price.
  18. I have been buying from Amazon JP and using Tenso to send it to me. You can also shop at Rakuten but I find it harder as less shops there take your credit card.
  19. It's Ozma Valk which is why it sells better. Also, maybe Bandai limit the quantity to the retailers due to some of the other releases still being available like the RVF-25, VF-27, VF-171 and below retail too. We may see the preorder open again from places like Hobby Search. Also HLJ is yet to put theirs up. If not probably will see them popping up when they are released. If NY second batch is too high, I will just wait for Amazon JP when it get released as I can bulk buy from them and save on shipping one package rather than multiple.
  20. There's no specific timeframe. It varies. Just have to hit F5 or watch MW for someone to post that it's back on.
  21. From what I recall their first batch is at retail plus japan tax. Like the VF-25A first batch went for 14,700. After that they start inflating more.
  22. Surprised to see NY selling it at below retail for a change.
  23. Same price for a YF-29. It cost more than the VF-25 range.
  24. Hopefully like the last few DX, they reopen the preorders as the days goes by.
