yup agree with you as what you said. They should just alter all orders to 1 piece and send an email to let those know.However, just incase for those who have multiples I would edit the order to 1, just to make sure you don't lose that preorder or get banned.

I think they are saying that they don't even have enough to offer 1 per person. The words used "even" and at the end saying they have to send hundred of emails to apologise are indications not everyone who ordered will get one unless they can get more stock from their suppliers.

If you use Tenso, you can get the VF-25F at Amazon JP much cheaper. Currently being sold there as low as 13,200 Yen plus 500 Yen shipping to Tenso. Add Tenso handling fee and EMS shipping to you guessing about 4,180 Yen, total approximately 17,880 Yen shipped.

I think they will keep it at 18,000 Yen for a few rounds. They are not selling out that fast due to the high premium. Plenty of time to think whether to buy or not in both rounds, but decide to take my chances else where. If I remember correctly when the VF-25F was first reissued and when NY put their mark up rounds straight to 18,000 Yen, it sold much faster than the VF-25S. Upon release date, you could have got it from a lot of other places at retail or less, and I think even NY eventually drop their price below their mark up of 18,000 Yen. This time round might not be the same though as NY might not get a lot of extra stock due to past experience of over stocking.

I wonder whether they reduced any of their first batches orders to 1 piece as I noticed some people ordered more than 1 and they normally limit their first batch to 1 only.

Price movement in USD is most likely due to exchange rate movement as their primary pricing is in Yen. I bought the Armor set when the VF-25F was first announced to be reissued on the anticipation that the VF-25S will follow shortly so I got it at a good price at that time but waited for a long time for the VF-25S to be reissued.

Chances are will be slim given that it was a Tamashii exclusive and I don't think they have ever reissued any of the Tamashii exclusive items.

It appears they are marking up their shipping costs as well. If you put in a VF-25F, the shipping cost for EMS is 3,200 Yen while for the VF-25S its 4,000 Yen. No thanks. I just take my chances with HLJ or wait when it get released and try to get one then. If not, then just hope for another reissue.

18k yen is exactly what they did with the VF-25F when it was first reissued, but then on release, they drop the price. I think I will pass on this and put my hopes on HLJ or hope that on release more is available. Don't want to get caught again like I was on the VF-25F with NY.

They will not ban people who order multiple because they allowed this item to be bought as many as the person wanted. Only if they limit it to 1 and if you place multiple orders to get around it, then they will ban you like they did for the VF-25A.

Very vague reply on what they plan to do though. So I guess for the mean time they keeping all orders opened and trying to source more to meet their orders. And when they are unable to meet them, then they will start cancelling multiples first and I guess those who order at the end if they cannot supply 1 to each person.

Did you get an email from HLJ when you placed your order?

HLJ does have it program in the ordering system if they limit it to 1. If they do, all you can add is 1. But the way some people go around it is by placing multiple orders of 1 of it which they will eventually get banned from HLJ. For the VF-25S, HLJ did not put a limit. Did not say it's limit to 1 per person. So people are allowed to order as many as they want. So HLJ has done nothing wrong. When they do put a limit, you can only place up to the amount they limit to. I remember once back when the renewals first came out, they had a limit of 3 for one of them and that's the max you can put in an order. Also given that the preorders open for quite a while, if it's not a mistake it appears HLJ will be receiving a large shipment which is probably why they did not bother limiting it to 1 per person.

Yup the VF-25A was limited to 1 per person and you can only place 1 at a time. The way your friend went about was placing 4 seperate orders on the same account to get 4 which then HLJ banned him for it. For the VF-25S, you can select up to 20 on the order page for it. Looks like HLJ updated their page to remove August as a release date. It now just says "We will accept additional orders after this item is released, if supplies are sufficient."

Those who missed out, just bear in mind NY has only open one round I believe and have not done their premium rounds yet. HLJ preorders always open at unexpected times as they don't have a fixed time when the open them. It opened up for a good amount of time, about 45-60 minutes, compared to other retailers and releases espcially there was no limit as well.

They normally do set a limit of 1 per person. And even when they did that, the preorder window does not stay up for long. However, this time the preorder open for a good amount of time even though there is no limit which suggest that if it's not a mistake, they are getting a large shipment from Bandai.

On your other post the payment method shown is PayPal. So when the item is released, HLJ will send you an email to make payment.

HLJ payment is on released of the item. You normally have a default payment setup and you only have two options, manual PayPal or prearranged PayPal agreement.

Just have to wait and see. It could very well be true and just release date was not put correct, as they put the preorder start date instead of release date. Perhaps bandai allocated a large shipment for HLJ this time.

For me I choose private warehouse, as you get 60 days to add other items to your order to ship it together.

Most places will limit 1 per person. For multiples, only place I know of is NY and you will most likely have to wait for round 2 where the inflate the price. Hopefully not by much like when the VF-25F was first reissued.
