Ok, after HLJ telling me that they are not getting anymore and that they will cancel my order, I got payment requests last night. If you still have your order and still want it, don't cancel it especially if you got your order in early as I did.

Emailed HLJ and they said they will not be receiving anymore and will cancel my order. Glad I placed a preorder with NY as well than relying on HLJ. The moment I heard they stuffed up and allowed multiple orders and kept the preorders opened for quite a while, I hedged my chances and put in my order with NY at their markup price as well.

If it's like the VF-25F, they will slowly fulfill more orders but no idea how many more they can get. However, I don't know what they are doing with multiples being ordered as one member here only had 1 processed while another had both processed.

That's interesting that you managed to get 2 from HLJ as Pedro2k6 only got one of his paid.

Probably not as they have not fulfilled all their orders yet. I also got my order quite early but have not receive a request for payment. And even if they managed to fulfilled one per person, then they have the multiples up next to complete.

I am guessing that as long as Tamashii still remain open to take orders, NY will probably do the same. I could be wrong though.

I hope HLJ at least limit the orders to 1 per household and didn't just go on first come first serve basis no matter how many was ordered.

Prices at Amazon JP for the VF-25S was about 16,000 yen before shipping a day ago, but gone back up to over 20,000 Yen now. Not sure whether this is an indication of the stock level as they are not officially out until tomorrow. Normally should see more sellers putting it up on Amazon JP when it's released.

Dates I believe is for the Tamashii Nation 2014 event. Guessing they going to display it there. Hoping it will be Tamashii exclusive and not a general release. http://tamashii.jp/special/tamashii_nation/

HLJ generally won't send anything out until release date when stock are in.

Looks like I have to go through with NY if I don't want my account to be closed as they have put it in the payment request that non-payment will result in account closure. Did they do this in previous request payment and still kept the accounts open if you didn't pay?

14,000 Yen is the RRP. 700 Yen is the Japan tax on it. 2012 is first release, this month it's being reissued. If you want RRP or less, you need to hope to see it available at Amiami, HLJ, Hobby Search, CDJapan. Other places like NY and Amazon JP will be marked up, unless Bandai produced a lot this time.

You can order them from Amazon JP is you don't mind using forwarding agents. I am monitoring their prices, small drop so far but still close to the 18,000 Yen mark that NY was charging.

Good thing, NY gave us up to 19 November to make payment. If prices drop more at Amazon JP, will go through that route as may order other stuff from there as well and get them combined and ship to me. If it drops to about 16k Yen, I will jump on it. Will be first time not making payment to NY, hope they don't ban me for it considering on how much I have bought from them.

Wonder whether we will see a price drop on the VF-25S. Amazon JP currently selling them for about 18k Yen before shipping similar to NY markup preorder price. Thinking whether to pay my NY order or hope prices will fall more in Amazon JP. Shipping cost will be similar given NY put a markup on their shipping costs while Amazon JP you need to use a forwarding agent.

VF-25F was a third issue. VF-25S second issue and have been a long time since the first issue came out. Chances of dropping less unless Bandai did a large production run.

Yup, but if the prices goes up, it will also be adjusted upwards. So it's whether you want certainty of how much USD to pay when you make your preorder or happy to let the exchange rate fluctuate.

It's most likely due to you placing your preorder in USD instead of Yen. The Yen has weaken recently and now it cost less in USD due to NY price being based on Yen. I don't think they will adjust it as you have selected to order it in USD and not Yen. If it was the reverse, NY won't be asking you to pay the higher price.

Have to wait overtime as the VF-171 CF variant, there were some initial cracking and breakage, but a lot of the issues also came over time when it started cracking and breaking just sitting in the box. But since the Alto version had no issues, hopefully they have a good batch of plastic this time.

It's still available from places like Amazon JP, but the prices is slowly going back up. It's about 14-15k Yen now. I managed to get it at 12,980 Yen before shipping about a week ago.

Would like to know to. But I find in the first place NY hike up the shipping costs. I just got my YF-29 ozma super parts in and I was charged 5,400 Yen for shipping but on the box they were only charged 2,800 Yen. Most of my other orders also appears the shipping costs is way higher than what they get charged.

I am not sure how much Mandarake is selling the VF-25F now, but check out Amazon JP as might be a cheaper route to order. Currently going for about 14,500 Yen depending on which seller you buy from. You have to use Tenso as a forwarding agent and they ship by EMS which might be cheaper than DHL. Tenso charges actual shipping costs plus their service fee which I find it to be reasonable. Their fee is based on the weight of the parcel.

I had other stuff stuck in preparation for a while before too while others have received theirs. Not sure the reason, perhaps they getting their shipment in batches or just delay in the shipment process. But so far they have sent everything out for me.
