I'm hemming and hawing about this too. I want one because it looks nice and I don't have a scale SDF-1 figure. At the same time looking at the anymoon review makes me want to pickup a macross quarter instead; even though it's supposed to be a bit of a floppy mess it just looks way more dynamic and fun to play with; not that I do much with these once they're in the display case Curious what the list price will be.

Sheesh, so many figs coming out. Do we anticipate that these will sellout quickly or something more along the lines of the VF-2SS PO? Hopefully it will be a Friday night. I need to sleep during the week haha

Thor: Ragnarok, in theaters Nov. 3, 2017

So much win in this trailer! Im not a huge Thor fan but love the Hulk and the interplay between the characters. I enjoyed "What we do in the shadows" and am excited to see Waititi's take on the Marvel Universe. Should be good -
I was a big TNG fan and this doesn't appeal to me at all. I'll check it out but not enthusiastic about it. Reminds me of the last film; all action and no sci fi. A complete miss on the spirit of Star Trek. I noped out of the current ST incarnations when folks started doing motorcycle jumps in the last film. Seriously WTF lol

Leaked trailer Left side looks great -
Received a big haul from "From Japan" today! Got a relatively good deal on everything because of the various promotions they were running (10% off rakuten, 20% off EMS shipping) and no currency conversion fees. I'm particularly happy about the low viz limited version. It's MISB and set me back $230 USD shipped via EMS. That was with 1800 yen tax because it was purchased from a store. Not too bad considering someone on the board tried to sell me one for 400 USD I think the only 1/48 out there that I don't have, and really want, is the VF-1J stealth super set All of my wildest dreams are coming true; I love you macross lol

Omg my wallet is groaning. What a wonderful and expensive time to be a macross fan lol

Spider-Man: Homecoming, in theaters July 7, 2017

Finally saw this in the theater and I thought it was excellent! Most satisfyingly movie theater experience in a minute; though baby driver was also very good. It wasn't perfect but they hit all the right notes IMHO, and I enjoyed it far more than any previous Spider-Man incarnation. Highly recommended; do yourself a favor and check it out.- 266 replies

What Current Anime Are You Watching Version v4.0

I just started watching Little Witch Academia on Netflix. Only on episode 3 but it's really cute haha Also started watching Knights & Magic which seems relatively light but entertaining. -

Thanks for the heads up regarding flightpose stands. Yeti indicated he could make adapters with clear filament which would yield an opaque, if not clear, adapter so that's also an option.
-
I've been looking at flightpose stands as well. They are not as versatile as the yeti stands but they are completely clear which looks very nice and doesn't draw attention away from the figure. They're mostly sold out at the moment but their Facebook page says they will get more stock in the fall.

I like the way you put things together mayne. Sending out vicious thoughts of mockery and scorn to HG and their ilk. Shame, shame, shame!

New Macross TV Series in 20xx (sometime this decade)
spacemanoeuvres replied to Tochiro's topic in Movies and TV Series
I can't get past episode 5 of delta. It just doesn't appeal to me but not all of the macross series do. I was not a fan of M7 or Zero either. M+ is life and Frontier was not perfect but very enjoyable overall. I hope they make something closer to Frontier and M+ this time around. -
I want one of these for no good reason lol I haven't even opened my premium finish hikaru

Looks good! I agree that the clear parts are a nice gimmick if you can swap them out with regular covers. The first round of VF-1s were due out this month. Did anyone order one?
-
I still have the usual payment screen too. They may be rolling it out in groups or regionally.
