I believe the Kai lottery winners are receiving units now and everyone is after the 31A so there is some downward pressure on the 31 Kai price. The one on jungle is 35000 JY plus 5% paperwork fee for international orders. However, there are a handful of listings on yahoo japan auctions below 30000 JY. One or two with free domestic shipping.

Yeah it doesn’t make sense because there’s nothing about a delay on the Bandai website like there was for the 31J Kai.

Keep an eye on mandarake, yahoo auctions, and the for sale sub-forum and you will find something reasonable. However, you may be waiting a long time if you’re trying to buy one at preorder or list price.

I’m deep down the rabbit hole with this 31-A nonsense haha A curious thing I noticed while browsing taobao is that many listings include an option for a unit right now for 350-400 or a “replenishment” unit approximately a month from now for 250-300. I am probably just reading the machine translation wrong and I was not able to successfully place an order anywhere. Of the three I selected: 1 indicated no-stock 1 offered a unit for $390 with a note saying the “replenishment” option was for those that have placed a deposit already. 1 did not respond The other listings were so expensive I didn’t bother. One more thing I noticed on a recently sold yahoo auctions listing; the seller indicated they just received their 31-A ordered directly from Bandai this month. Again probably just machine translation gone amok but who knows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Another week with no news from NY At this point I would settle for any candid communication from them; including a refund or store credit. This waiting is ridiculous and I can’t help but think they stand to lose a significant amount of business because of the way this release was handled.
