Um . . . Afghanistan and Vietnam? Small, thinly armed yet determined groups often do well against seemingly superior forces. And those are just 2 very recent examples. History is full. It's called heart and will . . .

I ordered the missile launch effect armor through a source just 2 weeks ago! Mid next year their will prob be a much improved set released with an accessory kit, or other armor design. Had I known 'they' were going to start doing this so blatantly I will have held up. I like the look of the newer, more finished fan racer, but I would be pissed if I forked out for the initial release only to see it come up later. I'm waiting on everything from here out . . .

IF I was going to do panel lines this is how I would want them to look . . . GREAT JOB
-
Weird - the 1J needs the gray visor for some reason. Might paint mine for this armor rather than buy another copy . . .
-
The Alpha / Legioss will sell well and eBay. The Cyclone toy does not seem very popular though . . .
-
They should have been included! Shadow Beta not up for pre-order yet . . .
-

Ahhh - a little better. The kickstand was lodged under the tail pipe and it was pushing the whole piece over...
-
Hmm - I do have it pulled out and it still looks the same. I will fiddle with it a bit and maybe send some more pics . . .
-
Thanks guys for the pointers. Sounds like the v.2 valk hip connection; just keep fiddling around, doing the same motion and suddenly it will just work. As for the back view - is it supposed to look this weighted to the right?
-
I could not for the life of me get the back green armor plate to snap down onto those two pegs. And as a result I could not get the 2 side covers to clip onto the chest. Its like his back was arched away from the bike and would not scoot back far enough to make the connection. Anybody know what I might be doing wrong?

Finally - after these many long months - I changed modes on one of my Beagles. In just 45 minutes I was beholding armor-mode. What an engineering MARVEL. I'm no expert but this seems like a $400 toy. I am not as surprised as I once was that Fuke didn't make it. The arm piston mechanism that collapses back into the front cowl behind the headlights alone is amazingly complex! If her red bike's front cowl is even a touch smaller than the green versions (and it obviously is, and a totally different shape), Beagle would have so much more to re-engineer on just that small section. As the sales results from the first two were coming back disappointing they were probably running into one snag after another on Fuke. It was draining resources with no foreseeable payoff. Rats, and double rats. ----- This thing is outstanding. If Toynami ever pulls off the dream of resurrecting the Red Cyclone I would not be surprised at a $350 price tag. And I would be first in line . . .

Discovered something mildly interesting. You can use the beta stand for the Shadow Alpha. It doesn't snap in as it works using the massive Toynami weight instead. Just set the stand down and stick the shadow right on. Mine won't even budge. I assume this is only good on the Shadow since it lacks the vtol thrusters that make room for the stand pegs . . .

In fact - if you have more than 3 v.2 valks and have not gotten a destroid yet, chime in with the reason . . .
-
If you are a Macross fan and have at least one valk please buy a destroid tomahawk or defender. They're amazing and you will not be disappointed - promise. If enough of you take my advice we may yet see the phalanx, and even a spartan eventually . . .
-
So here I'm yelling at people to buy early to encourage the rest of the line's financial viability ( and release ) - and this is what I get: • The tremendous feeling I could have waited and saved about $200 bucks on both my weathered destroids . . . --------- So if and when the Phalanx weathering edition is announced do they honestly expect me to buy right away? They're smarter than me, so they must be getting customers who cannot be patient with pre-orders, and then scooping up the remainder later with these drastic reductions . . .
-
I still wake up late at night in turmoil over that episode, and 'virgin road' for that matter. Didn't they realize we would be hanging on every screen shot for the next 20 to 50 years!?!
-
My greeny is right in front of me and it collapsed perfectly every time. Maybe I will try one more Shadow and this one can be my special 'battle damaged' version. I'll take an Xacto to it for claw swipes and blacken the side with the missing fin like it took a disc hit . . .
-
Then I guess we all think that she would not have exceeded Stick sales? I somehow think she may have done 1.5 x what the Stick sales were, but maybe not, and maybe that still would not have been enough to keep it going. I do think we'll see a Toynami version someday. I believe it strongly enough to endure the ridicule in the year or so it will take them to work it out (& besides, its more fun to think about the possibility than not). ------ Changed my Shadow Alpha back to fighter ~~ mistake. Fin beside cockpit broke off from a darn good crazy glue job, and this thing will simply NOT collapse enough back into itself for the shoulders to meet flush with the forearms! That bugs me to no end. My green and blue are 'good ones' - red and shadow not so good . . .
-
I, I - - c-c-can't relaxx, g-g-getting the s-s-shakes over these d-d-darnnn destroids!
-
Can someone in the know give us a definite answer on the Phalanx??
-
Tread or thread? or both? It is my favorite thread (and tread) and its slowly dying away . . . And JENIUS - you make an argument for why Rey had to be second in the Beagle line, but if they had to do it again don't you think they would have done the Fuke? I know we all wish they would have, but beyond that - I think Beagle would have it hindsight to keep the line chugging . . . ---------- I know why this thread is dying, I'm saying the same things over & over, boring myself for gosh sakes. Can't imagine what it must be doing to others . . .
-
Where are the Phalanx photos and release date? What is taking so long?
-
Whoa - these are cool. The hive one is going up as my wall-paper . . .
-
If the Phalanx doesn't 'do much' for a lot of Macross fans we will certainly not be seeing a Spartan . . .
