  1. Huh - did not think the 1/24 command car would see a re-release. Looks to be the kit, wonder if they will do more finished ones as well . . .
  2. Started a thread in TOYS for my custom Meltran in case anyone is interested: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=40872#entry1109288
  3. Yes - I have been wondering what I am doing here as well . . .
  4. 'Jem and the Holograms' thread has 14 replies - this has 9 ...
  5. E P I C breathtaking - excellent work . . .
  6. Does someone have the Japanese text for "Mospeada Inbit Gamo" ?
  7. Thanks B - and everyone's compliments. Might have to go evilBay to recoup my costs, and / or I may never get back the money I put into them. Possibly end up keeping most of them myself, or eventually reducing the price. Will not regret the experience no matter. Was a great and mostly enjoyable challenge, but I have to move onto the next thing, I'm behind schedule. Here are a few more fun pics . . .
  8. FINALLY got these up for sale - FS Thread here: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=40871 After 2 Years and about $2,500+ of my own $$ - done at last. Phew. Wanted to do something unique where we got something not seen much, plus have them completed ( as opposed to a kit you have to finish yourself ) - and ready ship around the time of the announcement ( instead of having to wait a very long time ). 1/60 Scale TV VERSION Meltran Millia Fig -- 1/60 Scale TV VERSION Zentran Regult and Glaug Figs -- Here is the box art:
  9. Its a Yamato 1/12 Votoms Fyana. When I realized how perfect the fit was I could not resist the project . . .
  10. YES - Big props to 'to177' --- who did a masterful job on both my Rau and Regult customs. He was also going to do these Millia figs but family tragedy struck and was not able to. Still hoping he will fully paint, weather and thoroughly damage up a 1/12 Scopedog Red Shoulder Custom for me later this year. --- Question was asked if Rau cockpit can fully close with Millia inside - yes it can . . .
  11. There will be 8 made, I am keeping 1, so that leaves 7. The base figure was about $80, and a few were destroyed in the process. There are custom resin pieces, the harness / straps were extremely hard to perfect and these Millias involved a host of other very time consuming / expensive features to produce. So I am out about $150 on each -- And I have about $500 worth of time in each, which I know I won't get back. Still thinking $379 (and for the Z pilots too) A static, non-posable custom Millia resin kit would run about $200 IMO. These are fully posable, COMPLETED and ready to ship now (as opposed to months or years waiting). They are limited and numbered. They are not without flaws, but still feel $379 is fair . . . we'll see what folks think . . .
  12. Some more pics . . . Package label . . .
  13. Think I am going to mount the rifle in the gun hand on the Z pilots. The pin I mounted in the handles (with the aim to make the gun stay in better) --- makes the handles weak, and they can break with the endless fiddling that one must do to get the articulated hand to hold the rifle well (or at all). Its unfortunate because it looks cool to sling the rifle over the shoulder. Guess I could include a gun hand and a non gun right hand, but I am already mucho $$$ into this and do not want to drain anymore funds I will not get back. Oh boy - that does seem like the ticket though - include an extra non-gun hand. Sigh. --- Should I make a new thread in TOYS titled: Custom 1/60 TV Zentran and Meltran Figures ?? Anyway - here is a quick cell phone pic of the first Meltran off the line (8 will be made), better photos at the end of the week. She can be in hair- or helmut- mode . . . Zs and Ms should be officially for sale in 2 weeks, unless I try to include an extra articulated right hand for all the Z Guys that is . . .
  14. Quick cell phone pic in my car -- better photos by the end of the week . . .
  15. TV version Millias -- or Meltrans -- have been pretty poor up to this point...
  16. The shoulder missiles work great on Mospeada Tread chest-pods as well . . .
  17. Everyone has valid points here. Its easy to understand why the line was not completed, its also easy to see why destroid fans are saddened that some of the other cannon models are likely not going to be made. The weathered Tomahawk and Defender were a few of the items I've paid full price for in my collecting life, $200+ each. The GU-11 and even 1J Anniversary (and a few other head scratchers) have made some of us REALLY long for their more obscure want-items. Like --- "Hey! That's going to get made? And I don't get a 1/60 Phalanx? The tooling is already done for at least half of it!" But its more complex than that . . .
  18. I got all the ride-armors and they are very cheap - sold them all . . .
  19. If they made the 1/60 Spartan and Phalanx 25,000 to 28,000 web exclusives I would be happy with that. I realize they are a niche product . . .
  20. If Arcadia would make a proper 1/60 Spartan and Phalanx (and weathered versions if possible) - I would fly to Japan and hand them my money. Unlikely though. Instead we can gun pods for $1,000. For $1,000 we could have had a limited release Spartan, Alaska 1A and VC-33 diorama - with opening doors and the plane could be lowered out of sight & raised back up again. Something cool and creative like that . . .
  21. I think I would have asked for better claws from the lady in charge . . .
  22. IMO -- at a basic level - the computer, or games, consoles, do more for you so you have to do less. Less imagination on your part, less energy expended. Its human nature ( for the most part ) to gravitate towards the easiest route for everything. Wonder what affect that will have over time on the future? ------ As far as CMs - They took on many obscure titles and releases which I admired them greatly for. But the quality was so suspect that I eventually wrote off anything they are coming out with - no matter how much I wanted it. So that is not a good way to pull in more sales . . .
  23. Another 1/24 Unit 2 up for grabs: https://www.rinkya.com/en/auction-b156823637
