  1. It depends on the categories, imo.

Mainly some sexual things i.e. R-18, ero, BL, Loli or something like that?

Hmm, some likes them, but the other doesn't like.

Story-related discussion doujinshis will be welcomed to everyone, I think.

If you want to handle with some sexual ones, please write the timestamps in detail. And I will skip the part I don't like.

I believe that in order to qualify to be put on itunes as a podcast it will have to be free of overly sexual content. Which is fine with me, it is fairly easy to google macross hentai dojinshi and find scans in the usual places. I would rather cover the non hentai and mecha based dojin that dont show up on google searches.

  2. Where in Japan are you? If you can get to Tokyo or Osaka we can show you where Yamato valks are still in stock.

This really disappoints me. I took a bit of a break to horde up a load of cash to complete my collection but now that is all for nought. I only have a few of the v2 1/60s. My 1/48 collection is huge, it was a bit of a slap in the face for me when they released the 1/60 line again, as I thought I had the perfect valk. Haven't even gotten a VF-1S Focker or Hikaru and was lucky to pick up an Elintseeker at normal price. Currently in Japan and it is a disappointment for me. Not many valks left at all except for the Bandai breakables.

I agree with Uxi. I hope that they get the molds and start cranking them out again. Prices before the sale were ok, not brilliant, but something that we could cope with. I just hope I can finish my VF-17D and FAST Packs collection before they run out.

  3. I agree, the animation effects make it look like a beam. But this is normal for depicting railguns in anime. for example in gundam seed the freedom gundam had hip mounted railguns that shot beams.

Thats still not right. A rail-gun fires a metal slug and cant be swept like an energy cannon from Gundam. Its basically a high-energy bolt action rifle. Not a laser gun like in Total Eclipse.

  4. The wafer cards are quite the rip off. Before you would buy a pack of cards, and get 1 rare, 3 uncommon and 5 commons. Now, you buy 1 pack and get 1 card. Supposedly offset by getting a stale flavorless wafer. They are nice clear plastic, but smaller than standard card size.

That's because the seminars are nothing but adverts for the BDs.....

I think you mean "wafers" not "warehouse"... :p

  5. This may be a little offtopic, but I noticed that when MacF fist started there were several dojin with Grace appearing, but after episode 16 aired there were almost none. Her popularity seemed to nosedive after that, that could be a factor in the lack of Grace figures.

Wait wait---they're up to "Basara cosplay Sheryl" (which isn't even canon) and still not a single Grace figure?

  6. My thoughts on the "Go for Broke" Dojin. Very poor print quality, looks like photographs pasted to a page and xeroxed, uneven hand binding. All these qualities I approve of greatly, its a true fan made book. Most dojin these days are slick professional looking books that the circle has no interest in, just its what is most likely to sell. Also a plus is the rarity, with the low print run combined with lack of presence in the usual consignment stores like toranoana and k-books.

  7. There are still a small number on shelves here in Japan, but rare to find at a discount. Price usually around 14,700 yen. It is not a conspiracy to keep these out of filthy gaijin hands. It is because they are licensed for sale only in Japan. Bandai is required to follow the law.

  8. Bandai was considering making a 1/100 scale VF-2SS toy, but canceled it along with the entire VF100 line. Yamato is very unlikely to make a VF2-SS, we have asked many times and were told no.

  9. These are pre-assembled resin kits. They are expensive because they require more time and skill to assemble than a regular toy, and the moulds have to be made every 20 units. And only 20 are allowed to be sold at a time, so development costs are not spread out as much.

Just a question, are these toys already complete right out of the box or do they need additional assembly?

And what's the material used for these? Because I'm a little curious as to why they cost a lot.
