me too. seems bandai has perfected the art of making models, why not concentrate on the toys? they are more expensive anyways...

yep, i'm already planning to start watching SDFM all over again... i'm very sad that MacF is coming to an end and the possibility of having to wait for years again for a new macross show... just remembering the feeling i had when i first watched ep1 deculture ed. last january makes me even more sad...

watched all M7 just a couple of months ago after avoiding it like the plague for almost 2 years, just sitting in my HD all that time... since i wasn't really expecting much coz of all the flak it has gotten, i can honestly say that it was ok... compared to kiddie-fied cartoon shows, that is. granted it is my least fave macross show, it was still macross coz of the mechs, the pseudo love triangle/triangles and familiar characters like max & milia. of course the music, some of it i liked but just too much repetition, it even made me remember what i was like in the nineties always having my guitar w/ me. i liked gamlin even if he was kinda "slow"... but what i just couldn't get is how the writers could have conceived a main character as extreme, abrasive, one-dimentional (always resorting to singing) and obnoxious as basara. granted he would show some vulnerability from time to time, it's just overshadowed by his obnoxiousness. i wish he could have somehow ended up with sivil w/ whom he showed the most vulnerability to, and just forgot about gigil (i couldn't stand his singing at all, had to fast forward!). and he just showed up in front of a mountain w/ his guitar out of nowhere? and i don't believe the rumors about where he came from, especially the rumor that he's minmay's and hikaru's love child (preposterous!) Dynamite was better for me. better animation. But it could have done without the IMHO. But, like many (even my wife), i too was hoping for a resolution to the love-triangle. BTW, what the hell is wrong w/ basara, every girl he encounters just falls for him, even mylene's sis (emiria, i think) and he just blows them off... anyways, all in all it wasn't as bad as i thought it would be, it just didn't excite me as much as SDFM/DYRL, Mac+ and the first few eps of MacF w/c had similarities to SDFM. 2¢.

it's like a stopper for the wings when you swing it inward/outward so the left and right wings will match angles (hope that wasn't confusing...)

wasn't there a part in m+ where the planes were cockpit to cockpit?

yeah, was wondering why they didn't do this for the new vf-1's, would make life easier for people obsessive about the wings' symmetry...

can't wait to see those "photos"....

finally got around to loosening the shoulder screws on my 1S. piece of cake, nothing to it. now my blood pressure doesn't rise whenever i change its pose. thanks to SDK for doing it first...

if you're still in manila, try looking for the gnu at greattoys goldcrest makati , i got mine for 1,100P. if they're out, there's a store near them that sells it for 1200P.

not a movie but i used to love watching this 80's time travel TV show - Quantum Leap.

could be... so far all the pics i've seen were right shoulders. i also noticed that the part where the intakes/thighs latch onto in fighter/gerwalk are metal on the new 1/60 whereas on the 1/48 it's plastic. personally, i would've preferred they kept it plastic coz its a friction part and it'll be annoying when the paint starts chipping coz this part is visible in fighter/gerwalk modes, unlike the other metal parts w/c are hidden in all 3 modes... 2¢

if this is the case for everybody, then essentially Yamato used the same part for both the left and right shoulders. hmmm.

I just noticed on my v2 1S that the shoulder hinge pin is upside-down on the left shoulder (thick part w/ teeth on top).

you can use the "U" attachment and slot the gunpod into it, no need to remove the head.

nice! ... but when i saw the underside thumbnail i said " where are the arms?" ... looking closer... are the arms supposed to be recessed that far in?

i'd be pissed too if that happened to me... the plastic covering the pin maybe a little on the thin side when compared to some TF toys that use the same type of metal pin (w/ teeth on one end).

for the future releases, maybe. but i would doubt that a solution would be given by yamato for any broken v.2 valks that have already been purchased.
