As of now, I have may Air Intake cover off during Gerwalk and Fighter mode. I am sckeptical because I saw someone post a picture of their Gerwalk with the Air Intake on, so which is it?

How about some pics and some overall review, hopefully it can convince me to buy one. I'm not sure who I like more, Roy or Max, ehheee. As a character I like Max more, but as a Valk, I like Roy 1S more thanks to the TF Jetfire.

Whoo water slide?, what is that and how is it different from the regular sticker? Yup, Twinmoon pretty much summed it up. The 1/48 decal is just a sticker. A transparent sticker. A very annoying stickers, ehehee. They are easily peel off especially the smaller one.

NP BP 01 - (4x) it goes on both side of each the Super armor. I put directly on the yellow mark. NP BP 02 - (2x) it goes on both side but in front of those 3 gray marks of the Strike armor. NP FB 01 - (4x) the first two go each side Twin booster just infront of the skull logo area and above the black mark. The next two go on either side of the outter leg pad. This sticker is placed right before the 3 gray rectangle. NP AR 01 - (4x) goes on either side of the arm armor. The sticker is placed in the middle of those half rectangle. Hope that's helpful. Yup, that's another reason me wanting the TV version. So the Stirke armor never appear in any of the TV series? I know there is none in the Macross Saga, but I'm not too sure for the one after that.

If I get this version, it's because of the TV version. But at the sametime, I don't want to purchase this version because I would rather use that money to purchase a nonFP Max and the separate FP which give me both the Super and Strike. Price wise, they don't differ that much. Super VF-1J = $180 NonFP VF-1 $135 + Super & Strike FP $60 = $195 plus/minus

Cool thanks for the clarification. I still haven't seen the DYRL movie, agrrrrr. So all other than the Skull squad gets the Macross symbol (kite) on their jet including Milia, right? Secondly, if I purchased the 1/48 Super Milia, what number will I be assigning to her jet? And supposed I purchase additional jet such as the Low Viz or 1A/J/S and designated these jets for amateur pilots or other, what will their number be? Better yet, are there any reference somewhere in the Macross universe that give you a list of number as to which number goes to which pilot whether by rank or by pilot i.g. skull leader = 001. I know, I could've just used my own number, but I just want to be true to the cartoon or movie with these valks. Thanks.

On the Fast Pack sticker sheet, there are a sticker that lable: 001, 011, 012, and 013. Other than Roy, 001, I have no idea about the others regarding their VF-1 number. Which number is for Rick, Max, Milia, Ben. Also, Skull symbol: Black - Roy, Red - Rick, Blue - Max, Green - Milia, so is the Macross symbol for all other VF-1 like the Low Viz VF-1A or Ben or other pilots?

After reviewing the cartoon with the 1/48 and 1/60, I gotta agree with Chris.

Whooo 2 sets of non-articulated hand and 1 set of articulated hand? Jumping Jupiter, that's 6 hands in all. Indeed, this is definitely sweet. Yeah, I'm out of the loop too. So I guess this is the cartoon version right? Besides the hand, are there any other extra goodies besides the standard 1/48 goodies? Hm, will the price be the same as the 1/48 DYL or will it be more expensive?

I wouldn't say that...lol. I love the 1/55 more than the 1/60 by a mile. And because I'm a Transformers fan, the 1/55 is even more lovable to me since it reminded me of Jetfire than any other line, well except the 1/48.

Bingo! Believe me, if I knew Yamato re-released again with the fix version, I wouldn't buy the first time out. I would've waited for the reissue. There's nothing more exciting than having a crispy version. Anyhow, despites that, I hardly see any flaw in the first one other than the 4 degree crook of the Skull and the canopy from standing up. So either way, I guess I'm happy.

Definitely a GBP for me.....that thing is too darn sweet to resist.

Was your gun pod trigger in collapse mode meaning the trigger is being push inside the gun pod as oppose of extending outward. Because that would help to cut down the gun pod height when attaching onto fighter mode jet. By pushing the trigger inside the gunpod, the tip of the gun doesn't tilt down as much when you attach onto fighter jet. Secondly, make sure the lower arm/wrist is being connected onto the leg connection peg tightly so the lower arm doesn't plung down. Those are the only 2 solution that I could think off. But, yeah, the landing gear could you use another 1/4" in height to help the gunpod from touching the ground when attaching onto fighter mode jet.

I'm just curious, does the Gundam figures transform? I know they got some spectacular robot mode especially that dude with the wing. My gosh, the level of detail, the connection, the display and size of that figure was breath taking. However, if that toy doesn't transform, then it's meaningless to me since I'm into transform stuffs.

I don't know what is true in Japan. The same statement can be said to the Takara Transformers. The people over here, US/ NA, seem to think Transformers in Japan is like a Mecca, but the people who live in Japan told us we are so wrong. Takara Transformers doesn't do as well as the other toy line. So with that said, what is the number one or top elite toys that are sold in Japan if not Macross Valks or Takara Transformers?
