  1. Yup, welcome to the 1/48 club and yes indeed it is the best valks line of all from detail to size! The fastpack is now release.....and hopefully Yamato put out the 1/48 GBP armor and I'll be one happy crazy fan.
  2. Thanks man for the info. Hm, too bad it's written in Japanese
  3. Whoo could you elaborated the upgrade between the two since I don't have the Low Vis yet? Other than the slightly crook of the skull and the nonstand still canopy opening, I don't see any problem with 1/48 Roy.
  4. Beautiful shots and images man, they look great! Yup, those white background sure make your valks even more prestine, lol. Man, I need to get a camera like that as well as learning how to shot a white background like. Overall, great shot.
  5. Interesting, where can I find this so called Macross Design Works book? Is that the full title/name of that book? Better yet, what are some of the good books that have all of the Macross valks images in term of designs and all references such as specification?
  6. Hm, I was hoping Yamato would do a better job than the Bandai crazy Back Pack armor clip. I broke the Bandai back pack clip armor twice! And since Yamato FP is like $50+, I guess when I do get that FP, it is going to be stay on that Valk because I'm not take it off.
  7. Why? Because he remind me of Jetfire
  8. Thanks guys, lol, I forgot about the fast pack. Can't wait for those yummy FP.
  9. I'm just curious, in Fighter mode the back pack connection has 2 holes (top and bottom) on either side to connect the leg from falling. I basically used the top portion of the hole. The question is, is there any reason or purpose why there are two holes just incase I'm not aware of? Secondly, is there any trick to make the lower arm from falling down in fighter mode? It's get worst if I stick the gun pod in. I know there is a peg in the leg that suppose to hold the arm up, but I feel that peg is too short to reach the arm hole since it being interfered with the backpack width.
  10. I spent $400 for a MIB Jetfire, don't know why I did it. Oh well.....I'm not doing that again.
  11. Ah thanks for the pic Omni, for the clarification.
  12. So in other word, when in Super mode, the tip of the boosters won't be even up as in the case of 1/55 Bandai Super Valk, right? You got a snap shot of the Super mode? Thanks man.
  13. Indeed, they looked nice. Yup, I hope Yamato released them in 1/48 too because that's the only line I'll be collecting.
  14. Thanks for the pic and review man! Hm, just curious, when converting from Strike to Super, are the lenght of the two booster the same? I mean, when looking on the Strike mode, the booster gun side seem to be a bit longer than the Super booster. As for coloring, yeah it does seem a little bit bluish. But then again since it's based on DYL, why not. I haven't seen the DYL animation so I can't tell how much accurate the 1/48 FP when compare to the animation. I know the Reissue Bandai Super Valk FP is pretty much close to its cartoon counterpart. I just wish the 1/48 FP was that color as well.
  15. Those images sure looked awesome. Darn it, when I don't have the cash, the FP came. Agrrrrr Anyhow, how stable is the FP when put it on the Valk? Secondly, is the attachement or clip as crazy as the 1/55 Bandai FP?
  16. Is that your speculation or from some sources? I want that GBP fast pack. I haven't been in touch with the MW board/ or this new board since I got the 1/48 Roy. Hopefully I got enough budget to get the current fast pack.
