I already have enough VF-1s to display in each mode (four) 12. Computer dying. Must buys stuff to keep it alive.

The wings aren't as nice as I had hoped they would be, but otherwise I'm quite satisfied. Jebus cheese, this thing is HUGE compared to my other 1/100 Valks, nearly the size of the Hasegawa Battroid.

joseph: What you have there IS the Phalanx (Actually, the reinterpreted BattleTech Rifleman for the Japanese version of BattleTech. You'll also find anime-fied versions of the Marauder (Glaug), Warhammer (Tomahawk), and all those TRO 3025 'Mechs))

Got it yesterday and spent the night building it. No time to review now, but all I can say right now is that the construction went nothing like your average Gundam. And it's fun to transform. I'll need to paint it and get some pics up soon.

Gundam (lots and lots of Gundams...my last count was 72 kits, including doubles!) and general quick-build anime kits, Warhammer (don't play, though), and the occasional vehicle.

There are 1/12? (five-foot) Valks produced under "Row-boat-tech".

Have one of these guys on order from HLJ (yeah, I've been holding out on you guys until the order went through ), simply because I've always wanted a VF/YF-19 but don't have the money for the Yamato or the patience for a Hasegawa. So, for those of you who have it...pros/cons?

Consider how the Hasegawa kits are built. Maybe the head is attached to the cockpit section?

The more I look at my test pic, the more it screams "COMBAT SITUATION!" Suggestions for the upcoming pic: -Give the Battroid girls corresponding numbers, as if they were wingmates. Custom coloration, too. -Girl #1 (on the right in my pic) should be firing. At least put some smoke on those barrels. -Girl #3 (Fighter girl) should be in CF colors, maybe trailing smoke to justify her facial expression -Maybe a burst of tracer fire or a QRau beam between the two girls? -Put a strap (garter belt?) on those...things...on their legs. It hurts to remove 'em if they're glued! Or draw some crimped fabric around it if they're wearing leggings or tights or something. -Maybe a small battle going on in the top...

David Prowse (Darth Vader) himself was named leader of the Fighting 501st! Gotta be 18 or older to join, though...blah...

Another note, that guy didn't update the destroid (called Rifleman in BattleTech). According to canon, several of these units were captured by the Clans and refitted into IIc variants, so there are upgraded versions of the destroids we all know and love running around on the other side of the battlefield
