  1. yup, they may not be "ships", per se, but simply big-ass Vajra that can carry other smaller vajra inside them.
  2. yeah, but just the same, they had to kill off Michael.
  3. effin funny avatar you have there!
  4. ok, ok, got it. fine then, SV-51 it is.
  5. Wh-wh-what?? Ando ?? DAMN gotta see the premiere soon!
  6. Wait, where's the ghost? or isn't it considered a valk? (but then again, the glaug is included, so what gives?) my vote goes to the ghost. hey so far, the only way it was defeated was through a suicide run. gotta give props for that. anyway, sans the ghost, i'd go for the Nora-Custom SV51. the VF27 is too flashy for my taste.
  7. So Alto really is better than Ozma?
  8. Oh yeah! Isamu vs. Alto. Guld vs. Brera. Sharon-controlled Ghost vs. Grace-controlled VF27. marquee match-ups all of them.
  9. how in hell did edgar get there? hehe.
  10. agreed. didn't even want to mention it anymore coz it makes my blood boil. to see them huddled like that makes me cringe. and tear my eyes out in anger and disgust. it's a wonder i can still type (must have memorized the keyboard a tad to well). EDIT: Now we know where RF26-AAC got his memories of the bridge bunny massacre from...
  11. Megaroad 1! Megaroad 1! Megaroad1! of course, most likely no reinforcement. in fact, i wouldn't like any of the known fleets you suggested to suddenly appear, since it would distract a lot from the resolution of all remaining plotlines. we have so precious few minutes left to waste.
  12. So after all this, Bilrer was just another Dr. Chiba?? sounds like something from the first Star Trek movie. but hey, i can see how it's possible. but... isn't that like the "flower of life" accidentally evolving the invid?... *runs for cover*
  13. Ugh. that's totally pathetic. the lengths that HG (or whoever) goes to to explain a ship that isn't there. ugh. crap. 2 SDFs back to back, like a pair of idiots? ugh. i spent a lot of time excising those robocrap concepts from my head; just seeing any evidence of its silly existence makes me nauseous.
  14. i KNEW that's what happened in ep22! i knew it! damn camera panning away at the last moment. very nice art.
  15. hehe. never heard that one before. but in a way, it doesn't work. it should be put an ass before U and ME. You should correct him, but since he's your boss... nah, just let it fly.
  16. EXACTLY! fiction based on real life stories does have the tendency to supplant what actually happened, in the minds of the general public.
  17. i'm wondering just how sheryl must be bummed right now. now that (she thinks) alto is dead, how she wishes she should have just let him finish what he was about to say.
  18. hehe. if alto's VF25 comes out of Ranka's giant red eye, then we know for sure that SK's dead, and it's been Anno pulling the strings all along.
  19. ' I can now imagine the big whopping collective "WTF??!!!" and "OMFG!!!" from all of MW if it did turn out to be Minmay.
  20. yeah, of course. pretty much like William Wallace really said "they can take away our lives, but they can never take... OUR FREEDOM!!!" and was the actual father of the next king of england. pretty much like Eva Peron really sang "Don't cry for me Argentina" from her balcony. Huh? what? they didn't? now i WONDER where i could have gotten that idea. i SWEAR i saw it somewhere...
  21. not really a "burst your bubble" epipihany, since i actually tought of that too (yeah, paranoia has its advantages). but really, we're gonna have a convoluted explanation about there being a "real" sheryl that was killed, and a street orphan that was given that name just for spite (and given the earrings and a dash of special AB blood just to make the illusion more convincing) in a span of one episode?? how to even tie that in with the rest of the unresolved plot points is mind-boogling. actually, my thought on this is that ep25 won't even mention it anymore. it's not essential to the plot. She's sheryl nome (as she would remind you every now and then) even if she's mao's granddaughter or not. the floating picture in ep 24 was just a subtle and touching nod to sheryl's true heritage, but we won't get any more about that in the finale. and from a story-telling point of view, i'm perfectly fine with that.
  22. makes sense, coz the VF25 is most likely what he'll be piloting in the finale. unless that VF-1 on top of mihoshi academy survived...
  23. while i would also like there to be a longer finale (hell make it a 2 hour special. if it's the last ride, make it long!), but i have no such expectations. and, surprisingly, i thing it can be summed up in a regular-length episode. alto contacts ranka, gets her to wake up, ranka/sheryl combo communicates with the vajra, inter-species peace is declared, grace dies, leon arrested, bilra meets that "someone" and gives a 10 minute explanation of what happened from the start, then, finally, triangle is resolved.
  24. Intrerested, of course! mighty interested. but you'll have to forgive the relative silence on the matter, because i don't think a lot of people were surprised. more of... relieved at a confirmation of something that has long been speculated on. i have loved sheryl's character since day 1; and the confirmation of the fact that she has actual old-school macross pedigree is just icing on the cake. as for what happened to sheryl's mother? no, surprisingly i'm not interested as much. wouldn't care less if she's never identified, or if she simply died of natural causes. i'm just happy that sheryl nome is REALLY sheryl NOME, not just an unidentified kid with a fabricated identity.
