    My assumption is that this release will be the same as the previous 31F, but replace the two figures with helmet-less Hayate and add in two Lil'Draken adaptors. "Maybe" reaction missiles with clips as a bonus for anyone with the super parts. You then use your current Lil'Drakens or Mirage's if they release her 262 and add-on set.

    The only thing that you might be concerned about going back into the foam is the bridge (ARMDs will detach and go back into their slots). Some have pointed out and suggested that you could leave the screw cover off to unscrew and put it back into it's plastic shell, but as long as you aren't shaking the box around when it's put away I don't think you're in much danger of bending the bridge antennae if you leave it attached.

    You can compare to the official photos. Mostly panels and gun emplacements to cover the screws. Also the ARMD thrusters are mostly separate parts. Cruiser mode hides most of them aside from the two large gun emplacements on the sides of the Macross cannons.

    You could to be safe, but I didn't have any issues with the flat panel sections since you're using a flat surface on another flat surface, so there's no rubbing or movement. I didn't use it for the pieces such as the ARMD thrusters since they weren't flat and the key would have more of a chance of deforming the part. I had to be more cognizant that i didn't roll the key and make a depression or mark with the edge though, so maybe there's something more suited that is less of a risk to the plastic.

    If you have something like an allen key or other solid flat metal object, you can use that to help insert the screw covers without breaking your fingers by placing it across the cover and applying even pressure to both ends to leverage the panel into place.

    It was neat being in the room when they pushed the button to launch the Kickstarter. The U.S. will also be getting the animation before Japan which is a fun nod to it taking place here.

    I like most of the suit designs and characters in 00, but there's just something about the story that keeps me from really enjoying it enough to want to finish it and I can't figure out what it is.

    Considering I spent about as much in the last month on Scuba equipment as I have on all of my Macross stuff, I'm not sure which is worse.

    I used an Allen Key to snap in most of the runner parts into place. The key is flat and strong enough that you can leverage both ends across the screw caps to get even pressure and snap them in without damage to the parts or your fingers.

    As much as I like the VF-1s, I think the Destroids and Zentraedi are the best of the line so far.

    The head was in the plastic shell behind the foam brace on mine. Screw and cover were in the bag with the runners.

    I'd be curious what the "do-it-yourself" cost starting from scratch would be for the SDF-1. The only point of comparison I have is completely repainting a HG Kshatriya and the paint alone for that ended up over double the price of the kit.

    I feel like just buying the supplies alone to even start to turn the regular into a premium replica would run $100+ if you didn't already own the paints and clear coats.
