  1. Well, here's a pic of me and some of my friends. It was taken at my friend's studio where he and others including me, produce a TV show, I was more of a supporting, pep talk guy. Don't laugh at my pic, I was bitting my lip about something and I had no other place to put my hands, so it looks like I'm wearing a dress.
  2. What?! You two are married?! You two look like you still go to high school!
  3. Very. And it's fun playing the Rogue Leader missions with somebody else. I laughed when I took my little brother's kills by putting myself in front of his X-Wing and blowing the TIEs he tries to line up. Simple minded 8 year olds!
  4. No, the guy that did Obi-Wan's VO in Rogue Squadron 2 is different this time. And they didn't use Han's actual line from the movie that was used in Rogue Squadron 2 when he saves your ass. And Vader sounds a little different, plus he says, "I have you now." before you're even within visual range of the end of the trench. <_< And yes the wingmen are useful this time, even a little more useful than my little brother when we were playing the first coop mission, Death Star Attack.
  5. Okay, I picked up my copy today and spent some time with my little brother in front of the TV with controls in hand. Pros: 1. Beautiful graphics B) 2. Awsome sound presented in 5.1 or 7.1 SRS B) 3. A little more accurate in terms of events 4. Great multiplayer value B) 5. Excellent control B) 6. Progressive Scan mode 7. GBA-GCN interconnectivity 8. Impressive AI B) 9. Great missions B) 10. Refurbed and extended Rogue Leader missions B) 11. DVD footage from the movies! B) 12. Branching missions, play as Wedge or Luke Now for the cons: 1. No original Wedge! 2. No original Han! 3. No "original" Obi-Wan! 4. No "original" Vader 5. 3rd person missions on foot are weird when set indoors. 6. Sometimes there's chugging framerates for the two player campaign. <_< 7. Voice acting isn't that great from supporting roles like transport commanders 8. Feel of some of the fighters doesn't seem as good as from Rogue Leader 9. Possibly the last great Star Wars game on the GCN, well...until Episode 3 perhaps. All in all I gave the game a 9.0. IGN gave it an 8.5. And despite what some people say, the game isn't on rails. Only the speeder bike missions are. The missions on foot aren't that bad, heck, it's fun killing Stormtroopers outside of the cockpit. The game has a great multiplayer system. Two players share lives and each get one AI controlled wingman. More things to kill, AI really improved. Still haven't tried Versus mode, but it seems good from reading the manual of the game. I reccomend this game to anyone. B)
  6. Bah! How could the X series fall apart with X7?! AH!!!!! Time to write my review of Rogue Squadron 3, now there's a game that doesn't let down! Well...not as much as the seemingly craptacular MMX7!
  7. Oh, ok. Cool. You just gave me that impression. And ArchVile, you scare me, quoting a madman of the likes of Stalin.
  8. Yeah. You want a fighter that's cheaper to produce in a large quantity. Think about the weapons our soldiers use. SF troops get super customized weapons or imported weapons while regular troops get regular issue M-16s, M-4s, M9s, M249s and M60s, etc.
  9. After Macross Zero, I'd like a new TV show to be made. And I'd like to see either a new alien race come into play OR a civil war. It'd be cool to see Valkyries duking it out again, and maybe once in a while throw in a third player like renegade Zentraedi or a new Zentraedi or Meltrandi armada. And the return of maybe Isamu or something. I want to know what happened to him after Super Nova. I wonder if he got a slap on the wrist after that fiasco!
  10. David is right when it comes to FSWs. And the wings aren't heavy like engines on F-16s so there would be no unwanted instability. Hey, David, are you a former USAF, USMC, USN, or Army pilot? Because you seem to know A LOT. If you are, then those people that keep saying the YF-19 is instable should read your posts and take your word for it. Yeesh!
  11. Man! This blows! I thought the Miramar Airshow would be next month, but they moved it up to this month! And when I asked my old aviation teacher last week in school when the Miramar Airshow was he said it was on the weekend. <_
  12. Hmm, I'd have to go with the MiG-29s, SU-35s and the F-15Es, and F-18Es. And a runner up would have to be the the F-4s. Man, those F-4s are still deadly birds.
  13. True that. But then Isamu and Guld were both at each others' throats.
  14. I have to be a naysayer to those that think the YF-21 has better response time. Not all pilots have the same reflexes as the next guy. Theoretically if you put a pilot with lightning quick reflexes in a conventional VF, you'd still get the same results as you would with the BDI and BCS that the YF-21 possesses. Also, a clumsy pilot in a sensitive fighter like the YF-21 would be a very bad idea. In the conventional Valkyries a computer controls more than half of the essential systems while in Battroid mode, like the balance and such things. And I've given it some thought...what if you save a person while in Battroid mode with the YF-21 and forget that they were in your grasp and accidentaly turn them into bloody pulp? Ouch! The computers in the conventional Valkyries would prevent something like that. Anyways, you can't feel that you're grasping something as delicate as a person especially if the fighter is a senseless hunk of metal that is an extension of your body. Now, if your senses were truly attuned through the YF-21, then that be really great. But it's not gonna happen. Best to go with the YF-19, a conventional fighter with a lesser chance of harming friendlies and civilians.
  15. LoL! I think there will be a love triangle. Shin, Mao, and Sara! And we already know that DD is getting his freak on with Nora!
  16. That's funny! But I've been crossing the line. Especially for the image of Millia I had as my fan pic. B) And on top of that, I had RPGers come after me! <_< And I've flamed some RPGers, man they waste better used space on the forums! I'm too liberal! Or could it be radical? It don't matter!
  17. YES! It's totally worth it. I preordred mines at Gamestop so I'll be getting it on Wednesday, hopefully they have it by tomorrow. Can't wait!!!! I've been keeping my hype busy with videos from IGN and the demo disk. The game looks promising! I'll be sure to write a review for this game. If you don't even own a GCN, you're missing out on a lot!
  18. I need good color refrences for the VF-4's detailing. It's hard to make my VF-4 wallpaper without any refrences as to what color some parts of it should be.
  19. Bah! Firefox! It looks good! Doesn't look like a rushed job! <_
  20. VF-4 wallpaper is underway! B)
  21. Thanks. And is your question directed at me Lightning06?? If it is, I'll try, and this time with a nice background, or is the one I've already posted good enough with a white background?
  22. Dang, that blows for you. Too bad the Valkyrie Exchange doesn't have the 1/144s, those are my favorite Macross models so far, I'm gonna buy a 1/72 VF-1D Virgin Road Valkyrie soon. My VF-11C doesn't look bad with a Hikaru DYRL?/TV series paint job. B)
