  1. Yeah. He killed a lot of Yuuzhan Vong, I wished that he killed the Dhuryam! That way the Yuuzhang Vong soiled themselves in vain by going to Coruscant. Well he's with Danni now so of course he's a loser. All those moments alone he had with her and he brushed them off because he wanted to find Zonama Sekot, what a loser! Even though that was a bit more important, but still! And when he saved Wyn Fel it was funny. "Wow, you were amazing!" And when Pellaeon razzed Commander Vorik. I had to read those parts over two times just for the laughs!
  2. Actually some of the deaths seemed necessary. Luke's vision of the future first had people thinking that it'd be Anakin in command of the new fleet of ships. But now that he's dead it's probably going to be Jacen commanding that fleet, or someone else. And I also hope they don't kill Saba off, they probably won't. I was a bit upset that Nom Anor wasn't killed, I wanted that bastard to die. I wonder how the series is going to end, it's ending this November! Well, all I know is that somehow they're going to "convert" the Yuuzhan Vong over to the side of the "infidels" and blow Shimrra away. And I think the series are hilarious, especially when Anakin goes to Yavin Four to help the students in the Jedi Academy as the Yuuzhan Vong reach the moon. He gets smacked around...those books are comedy. It's also funny how some of the Yuuzhan Vong die because they don't know about technology, like Corran's dual mode lightsaber feature.
  3. Yeah, that PSP is gonna be a waste of money just like that N-Gage. I heard that you have to go through a lot of steps to switch to another game using the N-Gage. And the PSP...why does Sony have to put a DVD player in everything, what kind of portable gaming platform is that?! It'll be as portable as the Virutal Boy! GBA will remain the number one handheld without a question. When I go for a console or handheld I'm not looking for something that has a DVD player or all this other crap. Nintendo is known for its simplicity too. Save game, power off, remove cartridge or disc like so and vice versa and power on. I don't know about you guys, but I like a simple product, not a complex one. Nintendo makes consoles for games, not for movies or telecommunications. Nintendo will never die! Viva Nintendo! P.S. I think "N-Gage" would have been a cool name for Nintendo's next console.
  4. Yeah, I feel sorry for whoever needed glasses after playing that for a long time. The thing is that I think after looking at only two colors for quite a while and then exposing your eyes to a harsh rainbow afterwards takes its toll on your peepers too.
  5. 3DO was supposed to be revolutionary...but we know where that went. An image came to mind...I remember when Homer got a computer and threw it out the next day because he didn't like it. And you see it in the trash can by the curb.
  6. True that. If it were not for Nintendo the gaming industry wouldn't be what it is today. After Atari and Colecovision and other systems took a major dump, Nintendo came in with a stylish, made out of plastic external called the Nintendo Entertainment System. I loved Top Gun on that thing, too bad the license was over used in the future. Top Gun Combat Zones...blegh! <_< The Xbox is a computer, nice and cheap one too, but not a total PC.
  7. Well, we can all say that those systems listed on the poll are all craptacular. And that's funny, almost passing out after trying it at Toys R US!
  8. Well, yeah I like that poem too Isamu. But still, it looks amazing, I like Star Wars a lot. Have any of you read the New Jedi Order books? They're awesome. Nice hack and slash action.
  9. Abombz... and Star Fox 64 did have all range in some of the missions, I liked when you had to take on Star Wolf. "Uncle Andross!" I really want to try Knights of the Old Republic, I saw the trailer for it in Gamestop the other day and was amazed. The one prequel game that would actually rock besides Star Wars Clone War.
  10. Gamecube sales are steadily rising while PS2 and Xbox sales are going down.
  11. I just remembered this but, I think an MGS or MG movie is being drawn up. One of my friends mentioned it to me one day when he was telling me about what he thought of Substance for PC. And the La-Li-Lu-Le-Lo seemed like a tongue twister, it was hard for me to say it the first time.
  12. SNES. Man you had to love the Mega Man and Mega Man X games. And Mario Kart was awesome, and I loved Super Mario RPG. Star Fox was cool. When you think about it, the PS2 is what the SNES was.
  13. N64 was not worthless!! At least I think so because I worked my ass off in school to get one and was pleased by great titles like Star Fox 64, Star Wars Shadows of the Empire, Rogue Squadron, Golden Eye, The World is Not Enough, Diddy Kong Racing and a couple of others! But Virtual Boy was crap! I remember going to Best Buy with my mom and after playing it my mom asked me why my eyes were red!
  14. Yeah Vostok, have you played any of the Rogue Squadron games? If you ask me I'd say that you can perform loops and do lateral 360s. And you have to dogfight in the game, something that can't be done just by going on rails. The only on rails thing of the previous Rogue Squadron games would be the TIE fighters, bombers and interceptors. In Rogue Squadron 2 you get a few kicks from seeing what the interceptors do in Endor. Last time I was chasing a pair they broke formation and flew straight "up" and began rolling. I was like, "Ooh...I've got tone!" And boom, I blew one of them into a million little pieces with a proton torpedo. B) I like the little red button... The only on rails mission in Rogue Squadron 2 would be the Death Star Escape. You man one of the turrets on the Falcon and take on the TIEs while Chewie is maneuvering. I don't really see how it's styled after Area 51 or Time Crisis. I think Vostok is confused with the Star Wars Trilogy Arcade, now that's an arcade I never get tired of, even if there is a couple of inaccuracies . And you two (Abombz and Vostok) are like fire and ice, except who's the fire and who's the ice?
  15. I just finished watching a couple of trailers of the game from IGN and the Battle of Endor will feature 4 Star Destroyers. And the imperfections that I would like to see fixed are that Wedge doesn't sound like Wedge, Admiral Ackbar doesn't sound like Admiral Ackbar, and Emperor Palpatine in some of the new cinemas doesn't sound like Emperor Palpatine. And in the Endor clip I saw one of the pilots said, "Copy that Rogue Leader." It's supposed to be RED LEADER! But it looks real purdy...
  16. Bad Boys II and for some nice vintage American Muscle watch Too Fast Too Furious. And for another Ferrari watch Fast and the Furious.
  17. Yeah, it's more of a "spectator game." But I enjoyed it nevertheless since I never played the first MGS, ooh baby, I can't wait till Metal Gear Solid Twin Snakes!
  18. I said Metal Gear as in the whole series, not just one game. Should have placed more emphasis on that though.
  19. I don't know if this has been posted before, but, who'd think it'd be great if Metal Gear and Metal Gear Solid 1 and 2 were turned into an OVA series? In Japanese and English dubs, I think it'd work, I love the games, they have all of the elements that a live action movie has. And it'd be easy too since they can get Cam Clarke, David Hayter and the other voice actors from Metal Gear Solid 1 and 2 to work on the OVAs, something about the "How-to-Play" manga in the MGS2 manual made me like reading it a couple of times over.
  20. I know I'm not him, but...PLEASE DO!! Well, if you get it before me that is.
  21. Yeah, it has the old Atari game on it, but they fixed it up a bit. And Abombz is right about the PS2 not being able to handle it. The missions from Rogue Squadron 2 are on 3 but this time it's coop and you've got two highly detailed Star Destroyers (same one) showing up on a split screen, four if the Battle of Endor from Rogue Squadron 2 is playable too, no easy feat to accomplish on a dated system like the PS2, and the bane of the developers' existence to try and get that in there . However, I think Xbox could handle it, but then PS2 and Xbox both have Jedi Starfighter and Starfighter, which aren't as good as the Rogue Squadron games or X-Wing games, but enjoyable nonetheless. And think about this: How come GCN has crappy air combat sims...er SIM...Top Gun Combat Zones! Argh! I'd love to see Airforce Delta Storm, Lock-On, or Ace Air Combat available for Nintendo's pre-school lunch box! The reason why Rogue Squadron 3 would be the best Star Wars game would be because you do things that haven't been done...EVER! But I do agree that X-Wing Alliance is the best out there right now, I loved the Azameens' story, the Battle of Endor was nicely done unlike in Rogue Squadron 2, but they're going back to fix it in Rogue Squadron 3, so you will be able to see the Executor, and not a poor looking one I hope. But the ATI videocard in the GCN is superior to the Nvidia videocard that Xbox has and whatever the PS2 has in it. Also the GCN has one major advantage that the PS2 and Xbox don't have, and that is GBA-GCN interconnectivity. You can hook up your GBA to your GCN to assign orders to wingmen in Rogue Squadron 3. A multiplayer feature I think. It's on the game's official website. One reason why Splinter Cell for GCN rocked even more than the Xbox version of Splinter Cell. And actually I think they have a policy where you can't cancel a pre-order if there is a special promotional gift anymore, provided that you already recieved the promotional item. But I just decided to leave EB Games for good, service is crappy and I don't like the employees, at least in my location <_< . But in Gamestop everything is all good (except they card you for M-rated games), friendly service and you can talk to the employees about anything as long as it's about games. Um...was this thread moved to Other Anime or Science Fiction? Because I could have sworn that it was on Games...
  22. Damn, maybe it would have been best if it were a downloadable file instead of a streaming file. <_
  23. Ugh...he should have had Luke's hair from Return of the Jedi. I'm laughing right now about how funny he's gonna look in Episode 3.
