I'm not a big fan of the VF-4, but damn, that's damn good.

I liked it. Man did Sara go off on Shin. For a moment I though Mao died when the boat exploded. And it was cool when DD thought he won, but was quite surprised when the armor came off and he saw Roy. I was like, "Get him Focker!!!!!!" I've only seen the raw version of it, but it's still enjoyable. I want Nora to die so badly, although she is appealing to the eye...and don't Sara's breasts look smaller than they did in Episode 2? They looked smaller to me. I liked the combat. I've got a question, when the village was being destroyed, were those Anti-UN mecha?

Hold on, I read here that the VF-11s have internal missile launchers in the legs, and that they have two fixed hardpoints on each wing. So it's an improvement over the VF-1 big time.

Oh yeah. The XL isn't as good as the Strike Eagle. The wings didn't have as many hardpoints. Plus, the F-15E is the fast USAF jet besides the Raptor. And the F-15E is a lot faster than the Tomcat. Would have made a good plane for the Navy.

Well, EXO, Shin doesn't want to frakk with Nora, I don't even know who he wants to, but definitely not her. As opposed to Max who's the kind of guy that says, "Pussy is pussy." And Shin is willing to take help he can get after repeated failures during the VF-0 training sessions. In the military you have to work as a team, and those that don't well end up being cannon fodder. Shin was pretty much cannon fodder when Nora shot him down in the first episode. And he looks much weaker because Katie whooped his ass in front of other pilots and Marines. Katie delivered a shock to his system, and he realized that he can't be the same pilot he was before meeting Roy and learning of the VF-0s existence. And a Valkyrie is a lot more flexible than a Tomcat will ever be, so he's just a soldier now, and soldiers work with each other to succeed. Well that's pretty much my assessment of Shin's character. Was my choice of words bad??
