  1. It’s been on the cards for a while but I think the speed with which they’ve got to a weapons-mock up carrying stage (which is unusual in itself) has caught everyone by surprise. Semi-conformal carriage on a stealthy airframe is an interesting one.
  2. Bit rich coming from someone who used to fly a modified F-104… (one of the many designs over the years for the Batjet)… πŸ™‚
  3. Thanks for the information, at least I know I haven't misassembled anything. I can get the arm to hold in one position, as long as its resting against the body a little. Just for the record, I've had the trouble pretty much out of the box.
  4. Regards the Lego Optimus Prime - has anyone else had trouble with the arm staying in position when holding the Ion Blaster? Mine has a tendency to drop to a lower position and doesn't seem to want to stay in place. The issue seems to be the elbow joint not holding its tension. I don't have much experience with a Lego kit of this scale, but as far as I can tell I've assembled the arms correctly. Is this a common problem with the type of elbow joint used?
  5. So is the Chinese Sprey complaining yet that the J-35 isn't as good as the original MiG-21 yet? πŸ˜‰
  6. That didn't take long! Wot, no Roller? πŸ˜‰
  7. Yes, just for clarity, I did mean an official one. Thinking about it, has Lego ever produced a sticker that would be as long would presumably be needed for the trailer sides? πŸ˜„
  8. By the way, I'm surprised no-ones asked this yet (AFAIK)... are they ever going to do a trailer for OP in future, I wonder?
  9. Lego G1 Soundwave would be the one I’d love to see. I mean, the guys practically a brick in alt-mode anyway!
  10. Fourteen: https://gizmodo.com/doctor-who-14th-doctor-ncuti-gatwa-1848896896 Some articles have shots of him with a 'tache, which would be an interesting look. Turn-Doctor Turn, Turn-Doctor Turn, TURN-DOCTOOOORRRRR!!
  11. I sent this to a non-anime watching friend of mine and they asked if β€œ20AU” was some kind of typo… πŸ˜„
  12. For those of us on my side of the gaming pond, its been a celebratory month; that humble rubble-keyed wonder, the colour-clashing 8-bit icon, Uncle Clives most successful child, the working persons micro - the ZX Spectrum is 40 years old!
  13. Just to put an end to any future speculation, following recent events, the An-225 is definitely gone.
  14. At the time, electromagnetic catapaults were still a bit... that'll be nice. Someday. And it wasn't just the means of getting the aircraft off the carrier, it was the aircraft itself, the choice of which also included a proposed naval Typhoon... Today has been a good day for military aviation history buffs to have some fun:
  15. I can't criticise too much, my government delayed an aircraft carrier because it couldn't decide if it should have catapaults or not... πŸ™‚
  16. I try. πŸ˜ƒ Though having been there, quite why Canada needs an air force in the first place baffles me, I've seen the mosquitoes in action... (er, the insects, not the Wooden Wonder), πŸ˜„
  17. So, after a good degree of... um... thinking, Canada has decided on the F-35 as its CF-18 replacement. I presume they will be getting the F-35EH variant. πŸ˜‰
  18. Oh, good grief, I had the original UK DVD release of that by... Kiseki? It was... lets just say, standards have improved. πŸ˜„ Article about the connection between "A-Ko" and another fan favourite from back in the day: https://www.zimmerit.moe/project-ako-urusei-yatsura-connection/ I got the "A-Ko" Blu-Ray the other day, its excellent. Haven't had time to go through the extras yet though.
  19. Thats really nice! So... when are you doing a Typhoon...? πŸ˜‰
  20. Now Lego are doing "Star Wars" dioramas, I wonder if "Cloud City Dinner Invite" will be on the list of future products?
  21. Thanks for confirming that. Would have been nice if they'd included something like the old board as well though.
