I was already pondering on this... It seems that they tried to put someone from a different part of the series, minus Mac+. It would be funny if they gave us Roy, but not the DYRL/SDF version, but the Mac 0 instead. LOL! Another criteria seems to be that the girl has too look like a 15 year old with a skirt or a tight fitting costume. So we're more likely to get a Sharon Apple than a Myung. Most likely for the series 2? Roy - DYRL Misa - DYRL (mickey mouse flight suit) Sharon Apple - (short hair) Sivil Sara Nome - um dressed...though the final shot of her on Ep. 2 would be OK. What I want for series 2? Kawamori needs to stick to sci-fi mecha, not fantasy mecha. Same here. Escaflowne didn't grab me, and what I saw of Arjuna turned me off (the environmental message, while laudable, was s subtle as a freakin' 2X4...). Escaflowne isn't that good or bad to watch. It's not at all catchy. By the way, why should they make a sequel to that show? Hitomi back in her own world, Allen's kingdom is at peace, and Van becomes a wonderer, just like Heero in GW, so what's there to tell?

I hate to say it, but Mr. Kawamori might have used Mac 0 as a template, or prototype for his new series. I'm guessing he might use the F-22 Raptor as his reference for one of his new and improved high manuverable valk that's even better than the YF-19/VF-19A and the YF-21/VF-22.

Thanks for that info. How about the F-35 JSF, can it do long-range high-speed missile launches prior to detection, and dogfight? Does it have supercruise ability? What it's radar range, missile standoff range, fuel capacity, etc. ? (Details please.) Can that be compared to the 19 or the 21/22? Thanks.

From what I remember, that voice is more along the lines of "the narrator cheering on the heros thing". The robot never talked since it is a piloted machine. As for who voiced that, it is none other than Peter Cullen, who voiced the John Wayne-like Transformer, Optimus Prime. Peter Cullen was also famous for dubbing in World Events' dubbed anime. On Voltron, he played as Coran, King Alfor, the narrator and various extra characters. On Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs, he played as the narrator and various extra characters. Currently. he does commercial voiceovers for Cartoon Network's Toonami commercials. The best one IMO is the Transformers Armada commercial, as if Optimus Prime himself self-promotes the show. B) As much as Cullen (and the rest of the G1 voice actors) want to come back, he and the others will not reprise their roles unless they are given a huge salary. Hmmm, that's very interesting. I remember that! I remember watching this show together with Voltes Five, G-Force(Gatchaman), the original GI Joe, and Voltron when I was a kid growing up back in the Philippines.
