  1. DHL says my Yellows should be delivered on Monday. Definitely looking forward to this.
  2. I have to say, this is looking like a much more robust design than I was expecting. I'm actually a bit impressed.
  3. Read Furman's Transformers: Re:Generation One (or whatever it was called... from like 5 years ago, when he continued his original run from the Marvel TF at IDW, as opposed to his early world-building IDW stuff). He's been phoning in garbage for a while now.
  4. This isn't the Arcadia one, right? I thought that the Arcadia one was pretty much ready to go at this point.
  5. Reaching into the past a bit here: I absolutely adore my Toyworld not-Throttlebots. I seem to recall a ways back seeing some recolors of them, though I don't recall if they were Toyworld of some company knocking off their molds in a different color. I've been looking for them again with no luck. Does anyone remember them? Specifically, a recolor of Aurora (the Range Rover Evoque)? Thanks.
  6. I assumed they were going for equivalents of G, H, I and just, you know, without the internet to handily look things up, misremembered.
  7. The ship, character names, and scenario (machines revolting after evolving from protoculture) are from Robotech 3000. the armor is straight-up HALO. Honestly, I don't have an issue with the RT 3000 reference (though, not having read the comic, I might feel different in context). If (and it's a big IF) you're a serious RT fan, I'm sure you'd love this kind of a reference. It would be like reading a Doctor Who comic and seeing a reference to K9 & Company. We have to remember that most of us on this forum are NOT the target audience of this comic. It's meant for new kids who don't know any better, and people who log in to the Robotech.com forums and type in all caps.
  8. All the other junk aside (including the HALO rip-off), I actually kinda dig the slight Invid redesign here. Fits in with Sentinel's ride armors.
  9. So, if we assume that feet, angles, perspective, etc., aren't the point of this, but the line showing where the top of any given character is what matters for showing relative heights (at least that was the point many many many years ago in my drafting days)... This suggests that the cute little baby crab is barely taller than the Enforcer (embarassingly brain-fried on the correct names at the moment) or the armored-up rider... maybe a quarter meter at most... likely more like 6" (yay, I'm mixing units). Definitely not how I always pictured them, despite having looked at these drawings for year.
  10. That drawing was from no3Ljm's post earlier, so not sure where it originally came from. I do feel like I've seen it multiple times before, including in some of the books on my shelf... just too lazy to look now. As to the lines being way off... I agree with you, and that's why I posted my comment. Just something I honestly never really paid attention to, up until I saw that post today. As for scaling of figures, to me it just really matters how I put them on my shelf, and that's based on the size of the human that I picture being inside the armor/vehicle/mech.
  11. I don't know if I ever noticed just how close that 2m line is to the 3m before... Or how off the riders are, relative to the 2m, from the heights that I always pictured them in my head, with the boots and leg extensions.
  12. Just saw a comment on FB, saying they are scaled to the Toynami Alphas (supposedly).
  13. At 1/55... I have no idea. I am ABSOLUTELY a stickler for scale with my displays, and all of my MOSPEADA stuff is organized by scale. That said, I do have the one shelf that is the random stuff that doesn't scale with anything else (I'm looking at you, Gakken and Megahouse), so, if this is cheap enough, I might just get one for a background piece on that shelf. Since he is working on a number of Sentinels characters, it would have been nice if the Inbit/Invid actually scaled together.
  14. All depends on the price, I think.
  15. MEPToys new announcement:
  16. Gotcha. I hadn't paid enough attention to even notice that (honestly, I'm mainly following this thread in the hopes of news that KC is doing some Legioss/Alphas). So, yeah, if KC already has a deal in place with Tats for the use of Macross, then yes, it shouldn't be a problem. Sorry for not having paid attention to that.
  17. I'm not following your logic here. HG and Tats may be join copyright owners, but if KC only has a contract with HG, then I don't see why Tats would be obligated to allow KC to continue manufacturing products under their trademark. This is more like if only one of the two members of the married couple took out the mortgage.
  18. That's a fair price for it, but, at this point, it's really only for big time MOSPEADA fans or completists. So, basically, if you have to ask if you should have gotten it, then it probably wasn't for you.
  19. This is why I'm surprised that so many companies lately seem to be making deals with them. I'm not surprised that HG is trying to cash in while they can; I'm surprised that the other companies are willing to invest in products that might have a very short shelf life, and few re-colors, depending on where IP ownership goes.
  20. Just came across the FB page for the guy who is MEP Toys: https://www.facebook.com/meiccoms Entertaining 1/16 Legioss there that he's 3d printing. I have to say, I'm not a fan of the faces or proportions of most of the figures (except the Inbit/Invid prototypes), but seeing how genuinely enthusiastic he seems to be about this stuff, it kind of makes me more into supporting his work. Though it's not of interest to me, there's some Southern Cross stuff in the works, too.
  21. Guessing that time has made them re-focus their efforts.
  22. Oh, I vaguely remember that, now that you say that. I had just assumed they were repackaging the MegaHouses, as opposed to making something original. I mean, Harmony Gold...
  23. You don't mean the Kidslogic statue, do you?
  24. Yes sir. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/6317849846/ It was $60 when it first listed 3 or 4 weeks ago, then went down to $40 recently. However, seeing how OVA 1 is now down to $18, I might wait a bit. I paid $35, even with the preorder price guarantee.
