  1. It's rohby's head, and he sold them with the standard green, or blue or red for the max/millia heads...

    1/48 CANNON FODDER!

Yamato may be releasing this similar to the 1/60 cannon fodder - releasing a special one (like the TRU 1/60 CF), and then releasing a regular production run of it, in a slightly different color...
  3. Uh, there have always been language filters on MW...

    1/48 CANNON FODDER!

Well, I guess kensei has the chance to order up the extra, what, 20 valks he 'needs'
  5. Well, I think we can look at the 1/60's - Yamato flooded the market with them, and their value dropped like a rock (not to mention alot of the 1/60's went back on the market once the 1/48's came out). They probably learned from that experience, that it's better to undersaturate the market, then oversaturate it - it's always better to have a demand, then there be little to no demand. Then, if they decide to say, rerelease the 1/48 VF-1J Hikaru for the GBP armor release, they can justify it, because not only the people who want the valk for the GBP will be happy, but others who want to buy more valks (kensei, spiff) can purchase some more, and justify to Yamato the cost of either fixing the molds, or making new ones (really depends on how many parts they've made from each mold)...
  6. Just reflecting back on this old post, I think that the tailfins have to be flat. Remember that the 1/48 has a little hinge to secure the backpack when the fighter mounts FAST Packs. How is it going to be secure when we do barrel rolls and stuff like that when the backpack is higher relative to the fighter? As I said in a previous post - it's up to the captain to make these design decisions, not us. Let the man work his magic, and we'll be surprised by the results
  7. Hi Capt! We're just talking about the structure of the tailfins of the VT and VE and the alignment of the backpack. I was wondering if the current booster sections of the FAST packs could be compatible for the VT and VE custom. I was thinkin that I could still use the booster and put on the new anterior sections (like those round thingys for the VT) . Or do you plan on making a whole new FAST Packs design? Well, the booster on the VT is completely different than the normal booster, so there would need to be a new one sculpted. For the VE, it's only really a new tip put on the end. But, I was trying to say before that it's up to Capt whether the tailfin is folded up like in the normal super armor configuration, or if the tailfins are fixed open, like in the Hasegawa models.
  8. I think it's more Capt's decision, not ours.
  9. Any info on Airshow schedules involving WWII aircraft?
  10. Ah. I was concerned ordering through them - they seemed to have customer service problems - not completing orders and just generally screwing over their North American distributor...
  11. Dude - where do you get your CoreWorks kits from? Been trying to find someone in the states that imports these...

i don't care what you say, I love the ugly duckling of the Macross world!
  15. That would be it. I'm still waiting for the Boomerang unit to become available on HLJ - I've got two - a plain LED Mirage, and an LED Mirage with the flame unit - but I'd like to modify the plain one with the boomerang unit...

Isnt this the pot calling the kettle black? I mean Fulcy, how about the armored gerwalk project? J/K. Uhm, guess i should have noted the sarcasm in my post...

Jeez, all this time, and that's all you have to show? You're making my progress on the Armored Gerwalk (which was started at about the same time) look like warp speed! Keep up the good work man!
  18. Can you get a pic of a PG holding that gun? Just wondering if it looks good - might have to buy that from you!
  19. Wow, looks great! Love the color scheme for the gun. As far as primer goes - I assume you are looking for a grey primer? I've been using Dupli-Color Automotive primer recently, and it's been working out really well - goes on nice, and is sandable... Most autoparts stores should carry it.
  20. OMG! What did you do to that thing!!! The horror!!! Oh, wait, just kidding man - looks awesome!
