I second this question...1/60 scale perfect transform, 1/60 is good size for shelf/display space and offers detail. Closer to common modeling size. They almost had it right with the 1/60 line. Just not a fan of super large(voltron size) mecha. Also how about an 1/3000 Sdf-1 ala Taka/matchbox. With die cast parts. How about a 1/3000(or close) DYRL SDF1 w/th ARMDs for arms..?? 1/5000 Wave is a bit too small for the majesty that is SDF1. (deserves large voltron size!) This would be center piece in many collections. IMHO carlodibi is a real douche, in one breathe rips on people posting requests and in the next breathe...maybe he's joking? You think they dont listen to customers at all? esp large macross Comunity like this?? This is priceless marketing data.

WOW,, I am amazed..such quick progress. So you are using multiple types of material. looks like metal,(strength) wood(shape), styrene(light weight structures)? Very nice.

HOW about getting home from running errands on your day off(Friday) only to find the mail came early(2pm as opposed to 4-5pm) and now you have to drive(hassle) to post office to pick up before it closes (hassle) OR get up early Sat morn to pick up(hassle) knowing you are gonna be hung over/tired from Friday night antics?(BIGGER HASSLE) Now your gonna be tempted to fit MacrossDay into this week or just wait til next day off? Resist the urge.........

Wow this kicks ass, I love the thought process that goes into converting non variable valks to variable. I honestly wasn't expecting all three modes when I saw the topic title. Valk to gervalk maybe, but all three...My hat is off to you sir. (thats a compliment in the US I guess). Edit: Can you please tell MW where you had problems during construction? What portions of which kits were used? Inquiring minds wanna know. Oh yeah i was so amazed at the varaiable nature of your custom I forgot to say nice paint/paneling job.

OMGosh i have always loved the DRAGON, one of my favorite "background" valks.....I love the delta design/shape. I'll agree with the lack of detail comments.. I couldnt imagine having to scribe all those panel lines by hand though.... I humbley disagree about the nose cone.(maybe i dont see what CA is seeing)..i like the shape of tit.. but those intakes look so blocky...from the intake to exhaust it needs to be resulpted a bit.. Good job cool8or. Thanks for building and posting...you def made sweet lemonade out of sour lemons.. Maybe add some skulls to the vertical stabilizers to break up that space back there... Now that we see how this kit looks built and everyone wants one WHOS gonna recast/resculpt/recast this????it has to happen..for under $100????

Just thinking out loud.... If you spray the cardboard with a clear acrylic would it be easier to bond styrene to it.. seels the cardboard so its not so pourous?? then maybe use the foam core then more styrene on the foam core for outer surface..

Zinjo-Just to clarify, you're talking about the english dub thats on this dvd or the sub? How are the subs?say compared to the other relese, the black cases without the english dub?.

Maybe if it was a soft vinyl kit...stick to acrylics..water solubels. You can mix paints only after the base coat is really really dry..otherwise it can start to wrinckle and crack the paint..i once used a spray can for primer then tried to go over it with acrylics..the acrylic paint dried almost imedetely while the base coat was still wet resulting in mess....

HIghlight for me was hearing Mari drop the F bomb..and the context she used it in...."oh my '' good times....
