  1. I got mine from HLJ (when the yen was weaker) and those are actually MSIA/EMSIA figures so..
  2. "For relaxing times, make it Suntory time." BTW Has anyone tried Habushu/Habu Sake?
  3. I have one of every release (they're all slightly different) and the wall and floor sections are fairly sturdy. The best part of these is that they are modular and you can rearrange/reconfigure them fairly easily to suite different toy lines.
  4. The moon moon(?) episode is probably the pinnacle of ZZ sillyness. Although it does get somewhat more serious towards the end or the series it never reaches Zeta levels or proportions. Good luck with SEED btw
  5. @Vostok 7 Yes they've showcased one but not officially announced a retail release as of yet. http://ngeekhiong.blogspot.com/2010/02/rob...m-tamashii.html The chests are actually completely different. The extra armour on the Stark is part of the sculpt not a separate piece. Can't be sure about the rest without better pictures or having a regular RD Jegan in hand.
  6. @Vostok 7 I posted about the Stark a few pages back and I was pretty impressed with it. Not so much the Zulu but I probably have more of a problem with it's general design than the actual toy. I wager since they appear to be releasing a standard Jegan as well they can combine the two molds relevant pieces add some nukes and a new paint job and do that CCA MSV version.
  7. I was actually basing my opinion on the FA-78-1/FAGundam which has extra armour in the very traditional sense. HWS is Heavy Weapon Systems isn't it?
  8. Check out this link VFTF1 http://www.mahq.net/mecha/gundam/v/lm312v06.htm
  9. To me at least the "Full Armor" is kind of false advertising. Also GM Sniper in August!
  10. I think some people are misinterpreting the "freeness' claim of anime that airs on tv in Japan. Yes it has adverts and sponsor messages but bar it being in some pay per view format/straight to dvd there is no direct monetary cost to the end viewer. Some people would consider that free and I would be one of those people. When I watch Stargate on syfy for instance I do not attribute any direct cost to it but just for clarification I do not expect to have it digitally for free necessarily and I have bought all the dvds up until but not including SGU. I only bought them because I watched the series for free and decided it was worth the money (money being $34 a season!) to own the dvds though. In terms of anime fans feeling entitled to free anime because of fansubs... While I'm sure that's partially true, in my area of America at least it's not uncommon to pay around $15 at release if you shop around for brand new big budget movies on dvd. I'm pretty positive that doesn't help establish a $30 anime dvd as being necessarily a great value. (I'm sure this will incite the usual it's a niche market they sell less so consumer cost is higher, apples to oranges etc) @Bri I totally agree that an anime pirated is not necessarily anime that would have been purchased should the free option not have been available. This could pretty much be said for the videogame industry too, not that piracy isn't a serious problem obviously.
  11. I guess no one would want to wear one of these then? http://www.jlist.com/SEARCH/dirty_foreign_devil
  12. The optional hair on that second statue is gorgeous. The chain effect is also something I've been hoping to get on an Ivy Valentine statue for like ever. @Chronocidal Does seem expensive for a PVC though but it says it's 1/4 scale. I think I paid $60 even for my 1/6 Poison and she's actually probably more like 1/5 scale because she towers over hot toy/joes/dragon/etc. I'll have to think it over.
  13. I really wish I could justify getting this http://www.hlj.com/product/FRE29124 Even though it's kind of out of character and she has no grasses/めがね. I really love the whole desk and chair deal going on. Would look excellent with a white/black board in the background.
  14. Robot Damashii Side Book available at hlj with a few choice scans up. http://www.hlj.com/product/MDW68573
  15. I can't express how awesome it is that you need to purchase two additional web exclusive sets for a yet undisclosed price point to somewhat complete a 1/100 scale toy that you already paid what $70 for?
  16. Photobucket is weird about what it deletes. Someone probably reported you image to be an a-hole. I know a picture I took of a friend with a pedobear cosplayer got deleted from my account before and it left me puzzled. That Duke Togo figure is really tempting. I remember when the Golgo NES game was so badass growing up, too bad I never finished it because it would always freeze from the NES overheating and had no save feature.
  17. Creepy ulterior motive guy is the religious civvie aka Dr. Caine right? I wager this particular plotline is in line with what we've seen in the other series, where a character establishes themselves as a religious figure and/or god for their own personal benefit. It would be an excellent plot twist if he turned out to be an Ori type character. I think the reason why the ship has been fighting of the alien incursions previously by itself is because not only was it on auto mode before but it wasn't wasting precious power sustaining a bunch of parasites (humans).
  18. I'm up for getting the stand alone with Roy. I've got plenty of Hik already. It'd be cool to have some better pics of the TV Roy pilot though..
  19. Actually you're not supposed to take pictures inside US stores either but it's rarely enforced.. It's actually for a few different reasons including keeping competitors from studying layouts.
  20. While I realize the accessories breakdown lists "Hikaru Ichijo for cockpit", the link in the corner still clearly has ロイ・フォッカー. So I guess this is an intentional mislead hoping to grab TV Roy fans even though there is no TV Roy pilot included. Oh well..
  21. It's being released without fast packs as well. Pictures look like Hikaru pilot but maybe that's because it's a shop? Yamato still has it listed as a Roy release.
  22. Just got mine today, hardly touched it though. I really like the functional but no frills packaging.
  23. @hikuro The PS2 OYW game was Project Pegasus. The Gamecube game, Pilot's Locus was I think also known as The Ace Pilot. I have both actually. The PS2 game I remember had a model kit and the GC one had a special MSIA Char Zaku II and GC system.
  24. I got that exact same figure for a friend from HLJ as a gag gift and I had no problems.
  25. I'm developing the exact opposite feelings of Arthurius for the most part. The civvies really annoy me and their actions I've interpreted as pretty petty. I'm not even sure why the civilians even trust Camile. Yes technically the IOA is a civilian operation by acronym but in practice it's not exactly non military in it's actions. Most especially here in SGU.
