*munches on a cookie* I got bored again

I just about finished my Impulse....however I broke this lil hook that I would be placing one of the Tail fins too connecto to the main body and main left wing...I'm trying to glue it back but its lookin pretty dismil at this moment... HOWEVER! I was pleasently surprised how well the upper and lower body stay together with that Core Splender in the middle. At first I freaked out cause it kept falling apart. It was then I looked at the instructions more closely and realized I forgot 3 pieces stupid me. After I placed in 2 PC parts and a support base on the mid section, I tried it again. <<<<<<did an impression of the two sections coming together with the core splender....I was that bored at the time. Anyways its holding together VERY nicely, and I did a rather okay job on the paint job to give extra detail. However it just pisses me off about the Force pack having a broken hook for the tail fin

I don't think its actually do-able for a few reasons... 1) Sponsership....who'd buy it? Your talking about a show with a limited number of fans...its comparing Macross with something like Transformers....both shows in the 80's yet we saw more of a fan turn out for Transformers than we do with Macross....Transformer sales still continue to this day....Macross........*looks around*.....Wait oh Japan....they got......well.....some sales. 2) Storyline to sell.......you gotta have a story to sell to a movie company. If you don't have a convincing storyline that they think can make money off of, well you just get rejected. 3) Budget, The Transformers movie is getting a very generous movie budget because it carries practically a house hold name. But the movie while with a large amount of CGI will still have a setting on earth, with humans, and buildings and such. Macross would be like Starwars....98% CGI/fake-ish over done. Okay there are a number of reasons I can say, and I used Transformers as my comparison cause Transformers is being produced into Live Action.

Holy crap it just hit me 0_o I dont think the 1/60 Impulse has a Silhoutte Flyer! I gotta check to see when I get home, without that its like.....worthless!

I recieved my 1/60 Impulse in the mail lastnight...I thought it was going to be the most incredible lil work of art I'd ever seen.....guess I'll have to wait till the PG kit comes(?) The box I think it just a bit smaller than the 1/60 HG Strike, which sorta caught me off guard, I opened the box and I found out just how hard this was going to really be. Originally I wasn't going to be painting it except around the vernier vents...but as I went through the instructions and was just shocked at seeing how this could have been a GLORIUS kit and got shot down and beaten with a club. The Core fighter's cockpit is a clear green plastic, and lacking in paint detail....wings are all white instead of a mixture of blue/white/yellow...I probably wont deal with it...I'm not in the mood anymore too paint. The shoulder mechanics are really part of the shoulder armor itself...its not mechanics than armor pieces covering it...sucks... Same with the skirt and legs...not much mechanics at all except the torso...that's pretty much all internal parts and I did a wonderful job in painting the hydrolic pipes and such. The head also has something interesting...you have two choices on the decals for the eyes...either the traditional decals or you'll have the black outline where you place it on the eye plastic and it'll still have the original color mold just with a black outline around it. Once you finish the head and put it near some light the eyes will glow...It sorta reminds me back in the days of the T2 endoskeleton toy where if you shined light on the top of the head the eyes would glow...I think I still got those toys... I'll be putting together most of the upper body and maybe the core fighter tonight...but I got to spend alot more time on my computer so I can take it in to get worked on tomorrow....

The prototypes aren't bad, I did have the Garland pictures with a human figure sitting on top, and supposively the G-form will be resembling a mix of both Part 1 and Part 2...the BGC...I really don't care about....I've really lost interest in such a show.

Well to someone like myself whose only really played the Xenogears game...I'm sorta glad I'm able to watch this series and not the game...there's no way I would play over 80 hours of something...I have a hard enough time with 20 hours...20 hours would take me nearly a year's time...80 I don't wanna think about. The animation is sorta growing to me...I mean I've seen worse (dog warriors....cough) and its not utterly boring in my opinion....so I can watch it. Shame my DSL is down, I want Episode 4...

It was sadly a short lived mobile suit, didn't even survive one battle but still it was impressive looking and people tend to admire it as a very powerful suit on its own. But when it went against the NT-1 Alex....it lost....narrowly.... If that Gundam didn't have all that armor plating it would have FRIED!

......You know.....I just don't really care anymore....this doesn't mean squat to anyone really....I mean they finished 1 episode of Robotech3K didn't they? So when this is actually out and about on TV or DVD, I'll make my judgement then.

that poor poor 1/48! Minmay needs to give it a kiss! Other than that, very realisitic looking compared from others i've seen...you made a real mess of it

I should see my 1/60 Impulse Wedensday....however it sucks I can't show you guys any pictures, and I'm not sure how much of it is gonna need to be repainted..Im not even sure if I wanna paint it period cause its just one big mess after another recently with model kits....plus its a fairly big one.

I'm pretty sure I saw a blur of what she did have as small as it may be. It was a quick flash on that sex scene but I'm pretty sure I did see it...just thought that was interesting to see...was probably not blurred in Europe or wha ever.

Watched it Friday...was it just me or did they blur out Starbucks flashin a bit to the camera when she was gettin it on with Zak? 0_o I swear I saw a blur...

oooooooohhhh I'd get that 0_o that'd be helpful to have with Impulse.

I went to the loca hobby store today and I found alot of Destiny kits 0_o even Astray X. So I was sorta stuck if I wanted Impulse, Hyperion, or Zaku Warrior. Well, I ordered a 1/60 Impulse so I wasn't gonna get a 1/144. I couldn't find the Dreadnought so I wasn't getting Hyperiod, so yep I got the Zaku Warrior. Surprisingly this was probably one of the ONLY 1/144 kits I liked...its even got the ability to add option parts to it if you get the other Zaku kits like Gunner, Phantom etc. I think I'll collect the set!

Yugioh almost makes you think its something to do with your anus.....heh I showed that article to a tech whose kids are game card fanatics and he took one look going "Wait..."

Rather interesting to see, not too sure about the music....and sorta sad to see they're really short. But I'm not too sure about the music hmmmmmm.......

Lastnight was checkin out some stores.....and thought I was pretty bored and needed something more to do for next weekend, so I went ahead and bought that 1/60 Impulse....lets see how good it is...hopefully it'll be a bit nicer than the 1/60 Strike from a while back.

........took me almost an hour for some reason to do a 50 meg file lastnight....so I'd hav eto say boooo...you guys suck

¬_¬ actually I dislike Wing almost as Much as I dislike G Gundam....SEED I tolerate cause alot of people die. but forget it, obviously what I'm saying isn't being understood.

Not interested in the SW-SE I wasn't even that interested in the first remakes to begin with, I only went and saw new hope and said, "Booorrrriiiinnnng". Not gonna watch more butchered work. I would HOPE they kept the "old school look" for the characters and mobile suits, if not there would be a poop storm as violent as can be for fans. But what I'm saying is this, you got a series from the early 80's...and here you go making new scenes with 21st century technology of animation colors and art....to me, that's pretty cheesey. If you wanna make a 3 part triology movie you may as well just redo the WHOLE damn thing from scratch. I personally doubt it seeing as the styles of the body are different, along with construction....they're too completely different kits....I wouldn't be surprised if the size was a bit different as well.

There's really nothing I can say about the Zeta movie other than they're 20 years too late to be doing such a thing without really doing all the animation over again....its just the transition of old 80's animation with that of 2004-05 are far beyond eachother, there's almost no middle ground. People will easily tell which is the better style....and chances are we'll never see it in the states I wont completely dog the Zeta movie, I say "Fine cool go ahead!" I'm sure it'll get some praise by the hard core fans....and I may be a fan of Zeta, but to me, its a big waste of Bandai and Sunrise's money.............BIG waste....

The HI Zak IS a modified Zaku II, but the Marasai is major upgraded Zaku with a different paint job and armaments, its totally based off the Zaku from head to toe that's why I'm calling it a Upgraded Zak.

¬_¬ it's a joke in saying that almost every few episodes there were flashbacks that felt like recaps of half the series...and there were LOTS of them....and even episodes that weren't really recaps were still recaps....like Athrun giving his report on the capturing of the 4 Gundams, the explenation of Coordinators had recapped scenes, etc.etc. Than its when ever there's an Angtsy moment between Kira and Athrun.
