if I could take one at of the box from there and feel it I'd probably change my opinion, but from what I was looking at based off the color coating and close look, he diffenetly looked like he's got more plastic then he does diecast in my opinion. Maybe it's just how they dressed him up that he looks plastic.......the Hasbro version I got from 2004 is more "glossy" like.

It's not really Light Saber related, but my Anakin Costume came in, man I really don't have the body for a jedi, but I got lots of time to loose a lil weight before Halloween if I'm careful. The guy who makes these "Replica's" is all the way out in Singapore, for costumebay.com The price was a bit much but if you really wanna look like a Starwars nuts then money really isn't any object....the big bang of the price came from the boots, those were really damn spendy but nice! However I do think the overal costume could of been better developed instead of using Buttons and loops to put things together, they could of used buckles or velcro to get a better fit. Not too mention the belt itself over the sash really doesn't fit at all once you get all that crap on...so I'm gonna have to punch a few holes to get it to fit better into place. Not too mention since I got time I'm going to make a few secure alterations so the costume doesn't fall apart from bending around. However I'm still getting use to putting the outfit on so this picture isn't perfect since it doesn't have the belt. The outfit uses an undershirt which buttons at an angle from the chest down to the right arm. Then covered up by a tubard which could really use a button to help secure into place since you'll have to mess with the sash/belt which will undo the tubard. What I did for cheap tricks was take my dress belt and put it over to secure it. Now the two black sashes over the shoulders are fake leather with padding inside with a loop to be securely inplace over the tubard. Then the sash over the stomach, then the belt. Pants of course, and then the boots which I find sooooooo cool, the boots zip from the front and covered up by the "shield" and then straps which velcro over.......they fit very comfortably. Once I make the alterations lil by lil next week, and loose a lil weight (good 5-10 pounds) I'll really be styling. The only thing I haven't tried was the traditional Jedi Robe...but I will soon. yeeessss.

yep Prime and Meg here at the FRY's in oregon is 24.99 each, and the Deluxe Figures are 12.99 each.....Wave 2 looks pretty nifty, but I wish they'd give Cliffjumper a different headsculpt and not just another repaint. But Wave 2 will be on my want list when they come out.

What pisses me off is the Hasbro version now released is entirely plastic with a Blue gun.....I just don't understand why they went that route when it really didn't even drop that far in price compared to when they first released the MasterPiece Prime back in 2004. Starscream will more likely become one of my favorite transformers.....I just wont see him till the end of october when I pay tam.

Yeah honestly the moment you saw LED lights start dying off buddy you should of sent a notice to Master Replica going "Hey! My stuffs crappin out watcha gonna do?!" Cause those lights should last for thousands of hours.

They've got Obi-wan and Maul at FRY's in oregon, and I finally got a costume going......hopefully I'll have picture for you guys soon, I think you'll all love it.

yeah....my hunch today was that stores in Washington and California were getting classics. and I remembered at the FRY's store I recently quit they were going to get the 20th AV Prime instock and had LOTS of the Starwars Transformers. So I checked it out, found 75 (yep I asked) Megatron and Optimus Prime Classics, about 10 20th AV Primes (HE'S ALL PLASTIC!! WTF?! WITH BROKEN SMOKESTACKS!) Then I saw 1 Astrotrain going "Dammit, that's all they got?!" So I looked around and in a shopping cart I saw a box FULL of Starscream, Rodimus, Bumblebee and Astrotrain figures and drove home since I live close by, grabbed a game, sold it, got the cash, and then paid for Rodimus. From what I understand the Classics line is really good. I really like the detail and revamped look on the toys.

Saw some transformers classics at FRY's in Wilsonville Oregon.....infact here's the recpiet. I had to trade in some games and had to spend a lil on my card to get Rodimus, but he's a pretty decent toy....honestly about the same as Cybertron Hotshot....hmmm I shall take comparison shots!

oh man I remember that fan project.......thought it looked like crap.....why dear lord WHY do a retelling of a robotech story to screw it up even more when your a fan?! ........gah!

I'd love to start collecting the classics line.....probably so I could start putting the Cybertron stuff away cause it clutters my room......but I wont be seeing any of the classics in oregon for probably sometime.....we tend to be VERY slow on the uptake.......I mean hell what it's been 3 months since Mirage and Prime were released or so? And I just NOW find mirage at a walmart?

Yeah what Valkyrie has was what I was going to look for, mine are just printed copies from some guy who once had a website with a big load of M7 tabs and sheet music for all the instruments. Almost wanna crack out my keyboard and try the DYRL sheets....but I don't have the time ;_;

Well lemme see here.......Guitar wise is easy, lots of M7 music for the guitar, hell and it'll work just the same for the piano as well (reads the exact same way) I'll see if I can find my Guitar/Piano folder it had stuff from Macross Plus to Macross 7. Sadly there isn't ANYTHING out there for DYRL music.... But I think somewhere I have tabs and actual music sheets somewhere I just got them boxed up.

oh man I remember christmas eve with my dads side of the family, my dad, my uncle steve, my cousin griffin and I were all playing the 64....course it was my cousins at the time and I pretty much went "blah" towards it. It wasn't until August of that year my mom got me the 64 with Starfox (rumble pack 0_o) and Mario......those were the ONLY games I owned cause the rest were turn offs to me...but I use to play alot of Golden Eye......I also remember when Crystal Dreams was suppose to be out, I think I was in the 8th grade, then it was early in my 9th grade year they canceled it.......man was I pissed.

yeah I heard some good things about the Toynami Voltron, but god damn 365 bucks? It better be 100% diecast right down to the freakin sword and be 2 feet tall.

I'll probably end up missing most of it or all of it depending on when it'll pop on since I've got a weird scheduling thing on my provider, but I'll mostly be at work I bet when it comes on.

Honestly wish I had the cash to go pick up Titanium Jetfire......they pretty much had the entire Series 1 set at that walmart by my place...but because of my finacial issues, I could barely even afford Mirage at the time and still have money to get gas to last me the next two weeks.....

The only thing that pisses me off about Thundercracker is the head color....it should be black and instead it's grey. So I took some of my black paint and a tooth pick and been dabbing at the head for the last hour....gotta wait for the major parts to dry before I can finish him off, but he already looks more authentic. I did loose some detail but it's well worth it.

Yeah David makes alot of remarks recently over the KISS transformers along with many other things transformers related which gimme a big smile. Went to Walmart with a friend of mine, we found the Titanium figures like Prime, Jetfire and Thundercracker, and we also found GT Mirage and Alt Prime. So I picked up GT Mirage, he picked up Thundercracker and WWI Prime....went back to my place to see what we got ourselves into...I like GT mirage, but my friend hated the Titaniums so much he gave 'em to me since I got a much larger collection.....course I had to give him something in return....so I lost a few Yu-Gi-Oh! cards, no biggie, it was worth it. Prime is really a big floppy mess like I've heard, and his Alt form is just blah.....Thundercracker I actually like...he should of picked up Jetfire damn him.

Well for a "concept" it's pointless since it's rejected...the first shot looked horrible to me, the head was far too round, the second shot was an imporvement, but I think the final one was much much better. That's what a suit of armor from a rich superhero should look like.

The Bountou storyline has confused me to no damn end on what they're true objective is.....I think it's just this kairiya guy just being power hungry.....I don't really care.

That might be what I'll try doing, but I'd like to sell off my Hasbro version first since it doesn't mean much to me....meh whatever

Well while I'm not too interested in the anime, the op and ending themes are kind of addicting to listen too, espically the ending theme.

Saw some new shots of the 20th AV Prime Reissue...it's the exact same damn version but with the blue gun and a stand.....he's still has the busted smoke stacks......here I was about to tell my Prime to get one that's actually accurate (cept the gun) but nope...

Sadly I've pretty much lost interest in the PS3......it's far to expensive for my tastes, even the "cheap" version is to spendy.....I had a hard time just coming up with the cash to do the 360.....and ended up spending nearly 5 times the amount I wanted too when that system came out.
