Sounds like your talking about a 1/55 scale valkyrie. Shoulders are not clear, but you can see the ratchet feature of the shoulder... and is part diecast.

I am curious to see what some members are/were paying for those custom toys? Example: Jung Chao's custom 1/55's, Or Kurt's 1/48 customs??? Those were probably the most expensive Macross toys.... Prove me wrong.....

Yes, I still have it.... and will never sell it. Uhhh NOT the same! You know the box art is one of the main things for these old 1/55's.....

I would have to say it's my Takatoku super VF-1S. Bought in the hay day.. .I spent about $900 shipped.

I tried to get a good picture. If you look at the kite symbol, yours is closer to the metal slide than mine is: And, of you look closely...you will see the small gap in the slide in fighter mode:

Looks like you need to slide the nosecone out alittle bit. remember when you transform it to battroid, You have to push up the nosecone, for the heatshield to sit right. You have to reverse the process.... The metal where the nosecone slides on, should have a small gap in fighter, and no gap (like how you have it pictured), for battroid mode.

Man this thing is looking pretty detailed. I am going to have to buy at least one of these...

All T.V. versions (VF-1J, and S) are bright white. All DYRL valks are the off white color. Do you have a picture of the box for the Hikaru S with option parts???
