    I got my V2 VF-1D 30th anniversary. But I got it myself....so I don't consider it holiday loot. I actually got nothing from my wife for X-mas. And yes...I got her something she wanted. I hate this time of year.

    Worse case.... you could buy a 1/100 or a 1/72 Bandai one from Ebay. Those will be easier to get. OR.... I may sell mine.... for the right price. But it won't be cheap.

    Exactly. People should be comparing this to the old Imai 1/72 parts forming kit......not the V2 Yamato's. Yup...me too. I like the fact that these new ways of designing and revamping the good ole VF-1 are being used. I know the design has been played out......but I love the VF-1's. If it ends up looking similar to a Hasegawa design, but can transform.....the best of both worlds (toys, and model kits).
