  1. ahiachris, Do you think the guy would be willing to trade a 1/72 Destroido for his YF-19? I know its a long shot, but i would be willing to part with a destroido help acquire a kit.
  2. was hoping to chat it up with some fellow MW'rs that are airsoft players and learn more about what goes on in So Cal, where to play, good vs bad fields, what your running in your guns etc.
  3. i'm pretty sure there wasn't one, but i do remember along time ago someone here was working on bashing a Hasegawa and a Yamato together to make the battroid. I think it was AlphaHx, but I don't remember if it was ever completed.
  4. Several people have tried, I think member Jarrod was the only one to finish it though. Here's a link that may help you get started: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?...46&hl=vf2ss I don't recall if Jarrod's version had the removable SAP packs or if it was just a vf2ss without SAP super pack. Do a search on him, the thread he did should come up.
  5. For those that have done 1/48 Yamato customs, I was wondering what paints to use. I have access to Tamiya spray paints and Krylon Fusion for plastic, but was wondering what would be the best method. I will be primarily be using blue and white....probably a small amount of red. I have the blue I want picked out, but which white paint would work best on a 1/48 and should it be flat or gloss? Thanks for the suggestions
  6. @ neko fr ... cool! Update on the decals,.... there was some difficulty on the opaqueness of the white portion of the decals which caused the delay of them being sent to me. but he fixed it and to tell you guys the truth he did a great job. They are here in hand and I will beging shipping them out today and tomorrow. Please keep in mind I have to slide them between something protective yet light enough to ship in an envelope, probably some thin cardboard pieces. Thanks for your guys patience, I hope you do enjoy the Tomahawk and post some build ups soon!
  7. Heres a link if you would like to try it out: Empire Craft Wasn't sure if anyone here heard of it or was playing, let me know if you are and which server your on.
  8. Alright the casting looks like this....keep in mind since the Destroidos share the same legs that this run can be turned out pretty quick and alot of the decals are already done for this particular Destroido.
  9. all kits have shipped. will ship the decals once they arrive probably this Saturday, thanks!
  10. Yes it will be similiarly priced to the Tomahawk..... around $5-$8 cheaper than that run, I'm still doing calculations and taking into account everything involved as I'm pretty much a one man operation.
  11. Alright, here's the official Destroido Defendarr reissue thread..... anyone interested please let me know here. Price: $130 per kit Shipping Likely to be the same as the previous release, I'll need to weigh the kit to see if i can get a price break somehow, so shipping is only a matter of it staying the same or maybe a few bucks cheaper.... Interested: THOR Spitfire_BR Evilbones Baxojayz Codam23 FAM56 PRICE PER KIT: $130 in the U.S. Priority Mail 2-3 Day Shipping $15 International (France, Germany, Chile, HK, and Australia) $30 ....Shipping will include insurance. Payment: If you bank with Chase and are on the straight shooters list... I will accept personal checks from this bank or money orders (us postal money orders or moneygram). Moneygram money orders are available at Walmart and alot of grocery outlets. Paypal accepted with a $5 fee per kit,....an unfortunate evil to add the fee but I didn't want to exclude this option. Another paypal option to avoid the fee is to send it as a personal payment, this works if you have enough money in your paypal account already or get it transferred from your checking account. If you have questions please pm me and we'll work something out. Thanks UPDATE: 1-10-10 The kits will be arriving to me in a day or so, please send payment. If something has changed please let me know, thanks! Update: 1-26-10 The kits are ready for shipping, those that paid can expect them to go out tomorrow, thanks!
  12. Hey Valk009, Glad someone is bringing the VF-11 to reality again.... I've bought your VF-11 Armored Battroid and would like one of these new kits. Thanks! Dax
  13. alright, i'm a little swamped at the moment with work and responses,....but i'll have an updated list of those who paid and are pending in a day or two. Also at that time i'll begin a thread for those interested in the Defendarr. thanks for your patience. --Dax
  14. Ok guys please read the first page for update and payment, thanks!!
  15. Honestly didn't know IP did a Destroido in 1/72 scale .... This was sculpted by Captain America here on the boards and is a reissue, unfortunately i do not have anything to compare to answer your question.
  16. Dependent on interest, but yes Codam the other two destroids are options. This is limited to the destroids that share the same legs only....Tomahawk, Defendarr, and Pharanx.
  17. I hear what you 2 are saying about wave.... but from what i've seen of their sculpt,...its inferior in many regards. I personally do not like several of its proportions, but all that is argumentative.
  18. dont really understand the dislike of macross II, but i really liked it. there isn't some idiot flying around singing to the enemy and the robots do not have faces on them. the vf-2ss is enormously cool and there are a significant number of capital ships and support mecha. i couldn't say its the greatest macross, as the story could have been alot better if they made it a longer series.
