  1. Damn, Valkyrie13. I was just about to sell my DYRL cels, but seeing yours en masse there reminded me why I purchased them in the first place. Beautiful stuff!
  2. Yea, same here. The upcoming EX Gohkin Maz and Great Maz are priced at about $200 as well. Not going to hold my breath on reissues, so just going to rationalize and say that this setback allows me to continue focusing only on vintage designs, and that the EX Gohkins would only hurt the integrity of my thoughtfully gathered collection. Hah, right.
  3. Man, I love those EX Gohkin Getters, but they're so expensive these days. Anyone remember what the original retail price on these was? I seem to remember around $200, but it appears everyone's selling for about double that now. Guess I missed the boat.
  4. Ahh, I see. Thanks! I figured Machine Robo was an older anime; after all GoBots was based on this right? Just thought perhaps there may have been an updated Machine Robo a la Shin Getter or Mazinkaiser. It does look like a very modern design.
  5. Anyone know just how long ago the Machine Robo series featuring Baikanfu was aired? It doesn't seem like a very old robot design to me, and I was just wondering if the SOC franchise is beginning to inch into more modern anime territory...
  6. Pretty funny listing over at BBTS for the two, re-engineered FIXes with internal frame. They think it's a combining robot haha. Already emailed Joel. http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product...amp;picture=out
  7. Thanks for the scoop, as always, Grand Cannon! Yes, that is a sick-looking Psyco. The MSiA always looked so goofy to me (which I promptly sold after seeing the first proto pics of the FIX Metal Composite)....as a result, I always thought the general Psyco design was rather goofy. But these newest pics have flipped my mind 180 degrees. That is an imposing Gundam.
  8. Yes, Twin Moons is awesome. The proprietor, Tamim, is a true professional and provides top notch customer service.
  9. I like the new skin, and also think the darker colors make everything richer. Kudos.
  10. Pics and prices up! http://macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?show...t=0#entry500152
  11. Yea, pics are definitely coming! Just waiting for some good light.
  12. Just running out of room, and trying to focus the collection a bit haha. It took a long time to make the decision, but since the 1/40 Orgroid's already on its way to Eriku, it's too late to look back now! Still waiting for some decent sunshine to take good pics. Hopefully tomorrow...
  13. To return to the vintage side of things, if anyone is interested, I'm actually going to be selling off my entire vintage Orguss collection. 3 1/40 toys, 8 1/60 toys and 1 1/62 toy...12 total. Everything in mint and complete condition. I'll be taking and posting pics + prices in the For Sale section later today, but figured I'd give the Orguss fans a heads-up first. Take a look later!
  14. Is there a big difference between the Red Shoulder Custom and the Turbo Custom?
  15. Was there every a Version 2.0 that comes with the improved shoulders straight out of the box? Or is the only game in town still to purchase a flawed Garland and fix up with the after-market shoulders?
  16. OK, now I am certain the Psyco is a Metal Composite. Even if the large Metal Composite placard were not resting behind the Psyco (it could have just as easily been resting behind the Metal RX-78s on the left side of the pic), check the placard in the top right corner. Front and back line-drawings of the Psyco with the Metal Composite logo in the upper left corner. Swiped from the following ToyboxDX thread: http://toyboxdx.com/phorum/read.php?1,166936 More info. 30cm!
  17. Hmm, strange. The pic above from Gunota shows a GFF Metal Composite placard placed behind the Psyco prototype.
  18. Interesting, Jet Li as the Monkey King. He is literally one step removed from playing Son Goku, of Dragonball fame now. Strange thought.
  19. Hey Totoro242, would you happen to know the exact scales of the various ride armor toys? I believe the large ones are 1/8? Some of the smaller ones range from 1/20 to 1/35. And then there are the little diecast guys.... The Takatoku Macross toys are so much easier to catalogue because there's so much information on the box art, and in English no less. The Gakken Mospeada box art's much more obscure when referring to toy series/name, scale, year-made, etc.
  20. Although I think that could actually be #1003. I think the RX-78-3 G3 is supposed to be #1002, to take advantage of #1001's mold.
  21. Ahh interesting. So Aoshima officially throws its Tread into the ring now as well. I love all this escalation. So now we have Legioss/Treads from CM's and Aoshima. And Ride Armors from Toynami, Beagle and Megahouse. That's kinda crazy.
  22. According to Gunota, this the next Metal Composite, FIX #1002. To be released in August for 10,500 yen. http://aeug.blogspot.com/
  23. Which Ride Armor is that next to the Tread? Megahouse? Beagle? Toynami?!?! The little sign in front of the Ride Armors looks similar to that in front of the CM's Tread...Could CM's be introducing a Ride Armor as well?
