Yeah, as much as I like some of these PVC figures, I'm not paying 100k yen for them. I have never once seen the black kimono Sheryl for sale anywhere. Picked up the purple one way back for about 16k yen, which makes it one of the most expensive figures I've ever purchased. Definitely one of the best Sheryl figures around. Which might not be saying all that much, given so many sub-par Sheryl figures, IMO.

That wouldn't be the first time. I remember the price for the 25G reached as high as ~$240 prior to the release date, but then dropped to around $200 immediately after.

Ah, so they got wise and knew it'd still sell out in moments even at full retail price. Even HLJ only offered 5%, instead of their usual 10-15% discount. Still, its not above MSRP so I'm not complaining.

TV Kakizaki is still only ~$75 at HKC and Angolz. I haven't bought one because shipping is just so much from HK because they don't offer (or don't have) any SAL equivalent. $30 shipping for a Kakizaki? No thanks. Yes, I really am that stingy.

Oh I fixed it. It broke where the canopy is glued to the column. I just glued it back. Works fine, but the column is still incredibly hard to pull up. Some pics I took recently. Haven't done anything except touch up some paint scratches and add a little detail to the pilot and instrument panel. With that done, I plan on never opening the canopy again. The lighting makes it look way greener than it really is.

Anyone else have a ridiculously tight canopy? Specifically, the part in the back that's supposed to rise up when you open the canopy? I just snapped the canopy off mine trying to open the damn thing.

Have a birthday gathering to attend tonight, so I'll be quite inebriated for the preorder start. This'll be fun.

Nothing a few drops of super glue can't fix. I personally prefer the earlier releases with the tinted canopies.
