Pretty nice kit. It would be nice if the missiles came out (and I'm kinda happy I don't ala Yamato and self ejecting missiles every time you sneeze). I would love for Bandai to release a missile effects set. The quality seems good. Not out of this world. Nothing wrong with it either. I'd say it gets a 9 out of 10. Mostly I'm happy the armor doesn't self eject ala Yamato.....thank goodness. Used a extra S as a stand in until one of the full sets I have on order comes in. Not thrilled with this pose. Something isn't quite right. I'll have to sort that out over the next few days.

Well, screw it I say. I wanted an extra anyway. I just ordered from Okini Land. Let's see who ships first. Okini Land or Luna Park. Who wants to bet on Luna Park? If Luna Park tracking goes live tomorrow all of you that ordered from Luna Park can thank me. I made Bandai release the DX Focker. My powers work in strange ways!

The Full Cloth? Nah, the design looks to "busy" too me. I like Gundam stuff. But I lean heavily toward the basic designs. The ones with "all the stuff" don't do much for my eye.

I told myself that I was getting out of MB's (I like them but their size doesn't work great with my displays). But I saw this for the first time last night. I LOVE IT! Trigger pulled! Looks like I'm back into MB's now. Man, my Gundam collection is a mess. I have 1/60's, 1/72's and 1/100's.

I should have thought of and prefaced that your location and local tax rate will be factors when comparing AmazonJP to Okini. That said, if Okini doesn't have them to sell, AmazonJP is absolutely going to be the better option. That is of course right now. Prices chance constantly. I have a strong feeling that the AmazonJP ship estimate is based on them building themselves a window in for getting it out the door that they probably won't need and maxing out the time it takes to ship (I do the same thing when selling on feeBay). Under promise/over deliver and all that. EMS has only been taking a few days longer than DHL since EMS started using other carriers for air transport. All that said, I would prefer DHL. Probably doesn't matter. FedEx Express (not to be confuse with FedEx Ground) is good about not damaging things. DHL is the gold standard though. And it's all a moot argument anyway. I just checked. AmazonJP has no sellers shipping directly out of country right now. The seller that was must have sold out last night.

It's funny that they sell out that fast while AmazonJP has had them up for slightly less for almost a week now. I'm curious to see what happens on actual release day. I've got a full set and armor only on the way. But I'll pick up another full set if it's the right price. I think I'll pull the trigger on $400 shipped DHL. Especially if it's from AmazonJP. Click, click, send.
