Above is the reason these are so expensive.

I agree 100%. Do you want to go looking through storage ever time you want to transform something and use different hands/weapons/etc? I don't. Put those parts in the toy. Or at least in their included stand. Exactly!!!

It's a free market. The only shame is for the people who purchased something that they didn't like the value of.

Getting that "screw" with no head out is the trick. I think after that it would not be a big deal figure out a fix. I'm not sacrificing one of mine to test the theory unless it breaks off 100% though.

I've got no issue with it. Just wondering. The DX with those colors looks pretty "Murica!".

They seem really blue. Are they that blue in DYRL?

The Mandalorian - Star Wars webseries from Jon Favreau
sqidd replied to SMS007's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I'm sorry if I gave you that impression. Looks like a I did a bad job of being "glass half full". I absolutely enjoy the Mandalorian for what it is. Simple, fun and well executed. It has a very 80's TV feel to it. Would I prefer a darker (but with some levity) more complex story-line? Maybe. I would enjoy that too. Would I want to replace it with that? Maybe not. There are more "serious" shows for when I want to be immersed in that. For example, right after I caught up on The Mandalorian I binged The Expanse season four all the way through (stayed up all night). Completely different animals. I enjoyed both a lot.- 1438 replies

I can't not agree with you. I'm probably not looking at it as a "fan". I of course love Star Wars. It was a huge part of my childhood (born in 72'). I was never THAT into it though. Then the prequels fell a bit flat with me. Not horrible, not fantastic. Then the new batch of stuff........The first one was entertaining. Basically a copy of "A New Hope". Which is not the worst thing in the world. That last one,was a dumpster fire IMO. I may not even see the new one. Or at least not see it until it's free and I'm on my couch. My Star Wars desires are high. But, my expectations are pretty low at this point. The Mandalorian doesn't have a very high bar to get over.- 1438 replies

I've seen it mentioned that some people have or use some sort of web crawling software or maybe web site that you can use to constantly scour the net for items to become available. I've got a wish list of toys that I'm constantly on the lookout for and sometimes I spend WAY too much time searching for. I'll hit the usual places like AmiAmi, Jungle, Mandrake, feeBay, etc. I don't know of any others to search. Is there software or a service that will "crawl" the web looking for things to become available for sale? Thanks!

I saw on the site that it said *temporarily out of stock....... I was hoping that didn't mean that they had sold their allotment. Looks like that may be the case? It took my PO anyway. Does that mean maybe I'll get one if people drop out once it becomes available? Do things like this become available from scalpers after release? I'm getting this thing, even if I pay a markup.

Additionally, am I assuming correctly that these three following figures are assembled and painted? I don't have the time or skill to finish "kits". I'm really new to Gundam, and really, really new to 3rd party Gundam. Can you guys give me a hand here. Is the mech in this video the one I have linked in ShowZ? The ShowZ pics don't show (no pun intended) as many accessories. Much appreciated! https://showzstore.com/pre-order-jianggao-model-1-100-msn-04-sazabi-metal-build-ver-ka_p1552.html

Why not just get it on ShowZ? Also, keep in mind eBay fees. Everything is always going to cost more through feeBay.
