Aw man, that sucks. I've got a non custom painted one that's in pretty great shape and has brand new never applied re-po stickers I'll be selling once the new/painted one gets here.

I know, I'm showing of. But since we're on the subject of the Matchbox SDF-1 and I just scored a really sweet one yesterday I thought I would post pics. This dude is completely custom painted. There are no decals/stickers ion it. That's all paint!

I just had something shipped to me from Rome. I guess they don't care about exporting the virus. I'm a bit concerned about the FOUR VF-0D's I have on PO through From Japan. I'm just going to have to be zen about maybe being out $1600.

I rolled the dice on three of these that I got for HMR VF-1/Strike Pack prices. All three MISB. None of the shoulders broke.

I can't stop looking at it! My crap pictures don't do it justice. It's absolutely beautiful. If it was 18" tall and metal it would be my favorite Prime. But, the Ultimetal holds that spot. Going to be tough to de-throne it. It's a really close second.

Good point. There was some, but nearly as much "Black Mirror" on the subject of how being able to switch bodies would play out in real society like season 1. Season 1 was borderline upsetting (because it was so accurate), and it was great because of it. Season 2 really glossed over how much the ability to change bodies would fundamentally change society. The world can't handle Twitter now. Being able to switch bodies would transform society into something almost unrecognizable. And most likely dystopian in feel (like season 1).

Maybe the cast the right actor for Kovacs. I don't think it was acted right though. That may be the directors fault. He just wasn't the dry, to the point, unemotional, "zero phucks" Kovacs from the first season. I even went back and watched the first two episodes of season 1 to confirm my suspicions. I think they're accurate. You hit the nail on the head with it becoming the "Falconer show". I couldn't put my finger on what I wasn't thrilled with. And that's it right there. I signed up for the Kovacs show. Not the Falconer (and to a lesser degree the broad with the coils in her head) show. I also detected a little of the woke motivation that is so grating that wasn't in season 1. Kovacs has a lesser, softer, more emotional role. Straight white man is the bad guy. Falconer, broad with the coils and the Governor all powerful women with lots of screen time. And IMO they were not done in the genuine "girl power" way that you get with a Ripley, Sarah Connor or Lizzie (Ms Elisabeth from season 1) , etc. It had that forced feel to it. I went poking around for reviews last night to check if I was just over-reacting. I'm not. A lot of people do not like season 2. It's shame. Season 1 blew me out of the water. I've watched it straight though at least three times. Altered Carbon lost that feel in season 2. On a high note The Expanse season 4 was excellent. As expected. Can't wait for season 5 when things get bonkers.

I finished it last night. The only word I can come up with is "cheap". On the scale of Altered Carbon season 1 to Supernatural I put AC season 2 a long way toward the Supernatural end of the scale. But Supernatural is supposed to be campy so it get a pass. I blame the director. The story was good. The execution was crap. Not the level of crap the last two seasons of GOT was, but pretty crappy. How the director had Kovacs play his part was all wrong. I agree he needed a little more emotion and to give a few more phucks when it came to Falconer. But his level of emotion, concern and empathy for everything else that was going on is not the Kovacs character. I watched two more episodes of season 1 last night to check and see if I'm crazy. I'm not. Season 1 Kovacs is totally different that season 2 Kovacs. I give it a 5 out of 10 where I give season 1 a 9.5 out of 10.

I'm still not clear on how the TWE thing works. Is this straight from Bandai (no retailer)? Will it need to be shipped to a forwarding service like Tenso? Anything else to look out for?

Here is is in all it's high tech glory. An adapter for the Sentinel Ride Armors so they will work on YetiStands. What you do is remove the bit on the end of the Sentinel stand that goes in the Ride Armor "butt" and put it on this adapter. Then this will bolt to a YetiStand. I'm getting a few samples laser'd out of stainless steel because that's easiest/fastest for me. And it allows the re-use of the Sentinel fasteners. If @ChaoticYeti is going to be interested in these I don't know. Hope to have the sample pieces in a week. I'll post pics as soon as I get a stand set up. Right now my plan is to mount three to one stand. I imagine you could go as high as four without much trouble.
