  1. Nice to see the comparison of this 2 mechas in scale with each other.
  2. To be honest, it really does look good with the SAP mounted on.
  3. Yeah. I mean with the prices going on I think it's better to get the one that comes with a pink hued Valk. But to be honest, if the one in Mandarake is Y10000 shipped, I'll probably get it.

    Bandai DX VF-31

Definitely, I'm not one of them.
  5. Agreed. But DX YF-21 first for me.
  6. Great shots, Robban. Though Arcadia's Isamu kinda looks big for the DX counterpart. Or wait until Bandai decides on releasing the 'teased'DX YF-19.

That sir, is one educational cool review. Thanks Jenius! Btw, any chance your wife's name is Millia?
  8. At that price range, it's more a question of if you really want it. Right now, the price mark of that one even in yahoo japan auction is around Y35000+.
  9. Welcome aboard, Boobytrap. And thanks for your insights on the latter releases. I was planning on getting the Nexx before. Had them PO as well over HLJ. But knowing that there will be minor improvements, I decided not to get it anymore. Esp with the amount that they're asking for it. Yeah it's nice to get another one and see the improvements. But with the price they're asking for, you'll get better toys with the same price from other companies. I'll just wait for Nexx to go on sale. And yeah, like the last time I said, it would be nice if they added their magnets to lock everything in place instead of using tabs that looks like it will only last for about 2-3 transformations.

You have 10 days to return it for full refund.
  11. Loving it. The ship in the background one looks nice. I know this one is still in the sketch phase. But my only opinion if ever you're going to go with the ship at the background is that not to make the ship looks sharp since that one is a little bit far away. And the buildings in the background has more details compared on the ones in the foreground. And the foreground buildings should not have more than 4 floors since Battroid is just 12.68 meters in height. Anyways, keep it up sir. Looking forward for more.
  12. Ok. I just finished putting the SAP packs on my VF-2SS Silvie. Looks menacing in Battroid mode. Love the overall look. But to be honest, and sad to say, I am very disappointed. Quality-wise regarding the plastic used on the SAP, the Transformers Classic toys has better plastic quality over this one. I have a feeling that this toy will not stand the test of time. I'm already worried on the part that inserts at the backpack area. It's so wobbly. Not sure why EvoToys didn't even used the plastic used by Yamato for their Strike/Super Parts. Oh well. I guess that's it for me then. I'm not so sure now about their upcoming Legioss after this one. Assuming that this will go on sale in the future like 75% off. And there's still no 1/60 VF-2SS from other companies. I'll buy another one and glue it for fixed Fighter SAP mode. Hehehe.

    Nice.
  14. Join the bidding on this used YF-21. Bidding price is now at Y13000. Minus proxy and shipping fees.
  15. Looks like Nexx release doesn't have the regular gunpod based on the 2SS tray. For now, save these instruction manual images from GBMshop site.
  16. You could also post directly the links on Item of Interest spotted on eBay.
  17. Thanks jvmacross. All the while I thought the one in the blister pack has tabs to secure the legs and arms in Fighter mode. Anyways, got the package today at work. Will open it once I get home.
  18. Ok. So I'm confused, what's the revisions again on those both arm packs? Which one to use? The one on the big tray or the small pack? And if so, was the fix only because of the Gunpod?

Atleast, you already have some 1/144 scale runway, right? You're good to go then for 1/144. And that's the time I should probably stop collecting small figures.

And ofcourse, I was just kidding on the HM-R SDF-1. I mean just imagine how huge it's going to be. But you know what, would it be nice for Bandai to release an in-scale 'Head' of SDF-1 for diorama purposes with working lights and all. Like what they did on some of their Chogokin line that has base or mountain or something.
  21. Wow! That's a bargain I might say. Congrats! Take a pick, Spanner.
  22. They should've utilized their forte on magnets for this toy as a locking device. Yes. VF-2SS looks better with SAP. The parts you're referring to is called Squires. It's a auto-attack bits. Think of it like Gundam's attack funnels/bits.
  23. Thanks also for your review Airborne. Can't wait to see mine. Wonder why there's an extra arm pack.
