Really? That's so high. I just bought one. Y7000+ yen if the weight is 4kg. And I can't remember FromJapan charge me more before with EMS. Hard to tell. But I'm pretty sure they're revamping the whole model. Because what's the point if they're just doing portions only? Think of this like a renewal or version 2.

Hope they add details to it to the Macross City. Because if you think about it, the Premium Finish is already painted and sprayed with topcoat as per Arcadia's description. So if ever one wants to customized the City if ever it comes unpainted, then it will be hard to dissassemble it and paint it inside.

I didn't follow Mikimoto's art all through the years (90's onwards). But can someone tell me in what year Mikimoto changed his style? I do have his Macross The First books and I can tell that's 2010's Mikimoto style already. Thanks. -

I like the extra panel detail added to the Fold Booster. Though I'm sure this one doesn't light up like Yamato's. And yes, this one still have the exposed wing tabs. Bummer.

I'm not surprised if they will have lesser role. Besides, Macross Delta was all about Walküre... and the cool pilot-less Valkyries. She got injured before the series end. -
The display is probably just using the previous DX figure with UN Kites markings instead of SMS markings. And as most of the guys pointed out, there’s a probability that Bandai might not fix it (such as the split canopy, exposed wing tabs, etc.) maybe to save production cost. They’ll probably just replace the markings and call it a day. But atleast with this release, everything is included as a set. No worries. Most of the times, I’m having hard time composing what I really wanted to say. Esp the terms or descriptions that I’m using.

You meant the red stripes behind the cockpit on to the head? The red stripes on the shoulders was there already on the regular 31J. The only thing that changes on the shoulder was the grey paint background behind the Δ05 which is now black in Kai. The C on 31J/C means 'Custom'. Custom/-ized (modified/altered/refitted/upgraded) is one of the english counterpart for the kanji 'Kai'.

The tag says Kunio Okawara X Satoshi Shigeta. I don't remember seeing Okawara's name attached on the Metal Build's Strike Freedom and Freedom product description. Is this the reason why it looks differently from the other two? Is this going to be a problem for consistency? I know Kunio's the main designer of the SEED mechas but I have a feeling it's going to ruin the consistency of the overall look if ever someone has the first two Kira mechas. For me, it's ok since I don't have the first two. What do you guys think? -
