My only gripe on this whole debacle is that: - We don't know if Bandai made enough since some of the shops cancelled orders. - Nippon-Yasan for having crappy customer service which we already know since -- ever. - And Nippon-Yasan not letting the customer know the real reason or their method on handling exclusive items. Which we will never know for sure. But somehow kind enough to reply even if it's just a generic copy paste response. Atleast this time they offer cancellation and store credit which they don't usually do. And I'm just going to stop right there. Why, because no matter how this will end, I'm still going to buy Bandai stuff. And probably still use Nippon-Yasan for exclusive items if I won't be able to get it somewhere. It is what it is. The only time I'm going to hold grudge to this companies and stores included is that if I won't get my paid money back. Period. Until then, I will still collect. Cheers!

I haven't noticed the ventral fin until you mentioned it. And the tampos on the wing. Wow. I'm assuming the wing tabs will still be there. Guess @Zx31 is right. They can just reuse the Fold Booster and have it repainted it for Kairos.

Hey Xigfrid. Yeah, sad to say they share the same shape somehow but different overall design. From Macross Mecha Manual: YF-19 Fold Booster VF-25 Messiah's Fold Booster as used by VF-31 Kairos.

Well, that's different because majority of VF-19 is almost the same as YF-19 except from minor stuff. The Fold Booster on the other hand, you really can tell that they're not the same design. And this is based from what you've posted -- 'reuse'. You can reuse mold from VF-19 Advance to YF-19. However, you can't reuse the mold from YF-19's Fold Booster to VF-31's because they're not the same. Do we still need a comparison pic?

Thanks Lolicon! Well, we're on the same boat then. I'm lazy too. I mean, I already don't have too much time to do all the steps I mentioned, I rather have something that I know it looks nice custom but still keeping the easy-ness to transform it without worrying too much about the details I added. And to be honest I'm really not going for a museum type of display. I still want to treat it as a toy with just added details. -

Hahaha! So, what would happen if ever they release an add-on parts later on for both Launcher and Sword packs. Would 2 Strike figure is enough? I mean, are you planning on displaying 3 modes at the same time? Or more of like one can be just switch which pack you want to add? Hope they will announce that on the 25th (JST) regarding add-ons. So people can decide how many Strike they need. -

Love it! Love it! Can't wait to line it up with my Freedom and SF (KO) set. So you guys think the skirt and thigh is still big? Though I really find the feet is too slim. You meant the Grand Slam Sword? Yeah they should've included that one. Now, is this something you need to purchase multiple just in case the other add-on pack will be available down the line without a figure but you'll end up having multiple Aile pack in your storage? And down the line a Perfect Strike Gundam release. Man, I couldn't afford right now on getting multiples all the time in-preparation for 'something'. Dilemmas dilemmas. -
At this point, it's more of Y42000 for one VF-31A or two YF-19? (Only a few yen to add.)

Right. I forgot that. I read before that weathering should be done after applying a matte or satin since it's not going to stick well with glossy surfaces. So in other words, if I were to decide doing this, I need to: - Apply Gloss coat after decal - Apply panel wash/lining - Apply Matte coat - Apply Weathering (optional) - Apply last Matte coat (optional if you applied weathering) That's a lot of coating and I doubt those will not get ruined or scratch even once I transformed the Valk all over again and again. Oh well. -
I heard people here will not order from NY anymore. So issues will be minimum. *Knock on wood too that they don't really order at NY just to ease the web traffic*. And yeah, I'm hoping that the PO should be move. Need to get that MB Strike. Even if thru NY. WE should! WE should! Well, good things comes to those who wait. That's how the saying, right? Me too. Me too. I'm thinking of selling some extras. Just need to decide which ones since I love them all. Hehehe. Happy Birthday B!

I have both Hikaru figures. Bought it less than $50 each when Robotech is having some warehouse sale 2 years ago. There was no Max. I'm just surprise to see him since I have no idea that he got released after Hikaru. Probably he got produced a little bit less than Hikaru? Was looking forward for Roy though. -
