  1. Amazing paint job for sure, but I'll just admire the pretty pictures from folks who do pick it up. I'll be curious to see how durable the paint is on this new PF. I remember transforming the PF SDF-1 as carefully and and slowly as I could I still lost some of the glow in the dark paint apps here and there to which I had to touch up myself.

Here's a quick run down of what happened to Moshow. Needless to say, the 1/72 Strike got Bandai's attention.

Well damn.... I'm even more glad to own their Strike gundam. The quality blew me away for such a new company and it's pretty interesting they split into several different companies to still put out 3P high-end gundam products, bless them for it. I never liked the idea of one company solely owning a property and the being the only one to produce product for that franchise.

that's kind of what I want. I like the transformation on MP-36, but I'm getting really paranoid about paint rubs and scuffs.

BTW, I'm really curious about the leg ratchets on the IT. I know there's an extra set on the hips, but are the other ratchets any different? I feel like I just can't get the legs in a position where there isn't some sort of lean going on (I'm not even sure if this is a real thing or just my imagination).

Hmmm then it sounds like the IT one is for you. I hated how easy it was to scuff MP-36, I remember putting masking tape all over that guy while transforming. IT's ratchets make louder clicks and feel smoother. There's less of a lean with the IT. I think the only thing I don't like with the IT is the tolerances on the diecast feet are off a tad and my copy had a few chips on it, but at least there are in areas I can't see in either mode when completed.

I need some serious help. ShowZ is getting a second run of IT01 in stock for $80 with EMS shipping soon and I need someone to slap me upside the head and tell me not to pull the trigger because I've just dumped WAY to much money into MP transformers lately and I absolutely don't need two MP-36's even though I'm REALLY tempted by all the talk about how good IT01 is and if I had a second Megs I could go to town painting Dynastron in toy colors. (please send help I need an intervention).

The IT Megs is only great if you like transforming MP megatron over and over without worrying about excessive transformation. The IT Megs made me appreciate the work TT put into their transformation engineering and it's wonderful......when you proper tolerances and paint that can withstand multiple transformations.

  5. Good they did away with those pesky magnets for some solid tabs. Covering up the gap near the head in fighter mode was a nice touch. The wing hinges and overall figure seems to be  much tighter than the old one. The double joint elbows are a welcome addition. So.....a first release new mold from Arcadia and no major issues so far? No disengaging hips or breakages or comically loose shoulders?

Ratchet pullout, then just a big solid foreward/backward free hinge. Little disappointed on that one, I mean it's not like bandai copyrighted the ball joint.

Thanks man! I have a poor camera and an even worse apartment mess. Seemed like a good idea to use the box as a backdrop.

Awww dang. I really like the ratchets on the old Yamato's ankles. Hmm I forgot if the Yamato one had ankle tilts, does the Arcadia have ankle tilts for inversion movement?

Very sturdy in Gerwalk! Considering some of the things said about the yamato toy, this is very nice. The hinged shoulder and locking piece is very good at keeping the wings from falling backwards, and the hinges seem to hold well for now. Only concern is the right shoulder pivot being slightly loose, but still holds nicely when left alone. Careful when pulling out the landing gear for the first time too!20190904_200442.thumb.jpg.27c2eb15aee5b19dc76bc7ea88ecae99.jpg

Did Arcadia keep the ratchets on the ankles or did they opt for some ball and hinge joints.

I think the lack of a stand really killed the SL for me.

There's a full armor set coming out for it that's up for pre-order right now.

    https://showzstore.com/pre-order-steel-legend-sl-upgrade-kit-for-sl-01-sl01-nz-666-kshatriya-gundam-unicorn_p1473.html

A stand would have been nice, but the struts to hold it up would probably have to be made out of metal since the SL is pretty damn heavy. The weapon set is neat, but for the most part those weapons did not appear in the OVA so I'm happy with the stock SL.

I originally had pre-ordered the Steel Legend release, but when I saw a review for it and the MC version, I went with the MC version instead, which IMO is the better figure. It comes with a stand, funnel FX parts, and the figure details are fantastic. My figure came with the arm mounted gatling guns, and add in the gatling gun w/ sub arms option pack and I believe it basically blows the SL figure out if the water. It's also going for $190 on Gundam Central right now

I think both options are good for Kshatriya. The SL version has better proportions in my eyes. I wasn't too fond of the overdetailed sculpt of the MC and I believed it would not fit in with my other metal build/ GFFMC collection. The extra weapons and stand of the MC version definitely was a great cherry on top.  Having 2 options for a high-end kshatriya back in 2010 would have blew my mind.

This could potentially be another dream toy for me, but I have never heard of this company before and so I will be on the sidelines waiting.

I urge everyone who was on the fence, to pick it up at that price. Great piece with a hell of a presence.

Yeah i know, you are right... I am just really bitter now. I was really counting on this release to be at the same level of all my others 1/100 models from Z gundam(i actually own all of them, all the ones from the AEUG i mean). So i was planning to keep this one in wave rider mode, since i don't feel comfortable in transforming my Z MG. Oh well, things got better  today. I spent another couple of hours on it and it looks almost acceptable now. The problem is that it has a lot of scratches now and if i ever want to turn it again in Mobile suit it's just not gonna look good.

I know what you mean.  I really wanted this Zeta gundam to be good since Bandai seems to not want to touch a high end Zeta gundam release.

Oh man, i take everything back...please don't buy this piece of c..p.

I tried to transform it tonight and well, i failed miserably. And i have been transforming Variable fighter since 2001...so i think i can say i have a little bit of experience with this kind of toys. It's a floppy mess, parts don't fit, joints became loose all of sudden...it just falls apart not matter what you do. Plus, now it has scratches all over and even if i could transform it back to MS mode it's not gonna look good. Last time i buy a third party toy. So upset right now.

Oh man that blows. I wouldn't let one bad experience with a 3rd party piece deter you away. I would just wait for reviews to come out to see if the toy is up to snuff especially from an unknown 3P company like this one making the Zeta gundam.

  13. The shade of blue looks better this time, but will the hands crack at the wrist and knuckle joints down the road? Will they seal the paint to withstand multiple transformation cycles?

  14. I only ship domestically to the US. Shipping is included in the price unless you're in Hawaii or Alaska. Contact me if you're interested or would like to put in a reasonable offer.

I've got a used 1/60 Arcadia VF-0D that includes it's box, accessories, unused stickers and manual. Joints for the most part are still tight. The lower elbow joints could be a little tighter, but they're not too bad. There are no breakages. The hips have remained intact even after expanding them for more articulation. There are no scratches on the clear canopy. There is some minor paint wear on the rear thighs, left shoulder and a little on the left medial part of the arm. The only major flaws I have noticed is that both wrists have a small crack around the hinge joint and the right hand has a small crack near the one of the knuckle hinges. Despite, the small cracks on the hands, the hinge joints remain very solid. This item was bought second hand and transformed very carefully so I'm not sure how the cracks developed on the hands or if they were there when I bought it. So far the damage has not gotten worse and the hands still hold the gunpod just fine. If you have any questions please feel free to pm me.

    SOLD
