  1. someone correct me if im wrong but i believe the wrcs are the official subaru rally cars so it would have more in common with the sti, while the wrx is a mid-level comsumer sedan better than the impreza but not as good as the sti
  2. there was a time when i would have said the speilberg was the best but he could never clean up the mess that was AI, and minority report wasnt much better, it was entertaining but the entire plot was a hole. it would be too hard to pick a best director, most have had hits and misses, just need to calculate the hit to miss ratio along with how popular a movie was and such, as for the worst director... who directed van helsing? i just saw it the other, defitely one of the worst movies i ever saw, gayest dracula ever, and all the monsters somehow linking together like that didnt make any sense, and the cg was too obvious

  5. originally i thought the entire shoulder was supposed to be orange, when i saw you missed a section i went for a refrence pic and found that the inner section actually isnt orange
  6. I think he already painted the shoulder parts orange. If you look closely to his last pix with rei in the background, you can see the shoulder has been painted orange. Sam, awesome job on this piece. Makes me want to buy the painted version of this kit. he did but 1 part that shud be red is ornage and 1 pat that shud be ornage is red
  7. heres what you do, get one of thise vaccum packaging things, vaccum pack the valk, preferably in the box, in at least 3 layers of packaging, then get a trunk, line it with cedar and fill it pine shavings or shredded cardboard, lock it, leave it in a closet, in 30 years you will have the mintiest 1/48 in the world, worth $3000
  8. dunno if you would find it worth repainting
  9. i hate to break it to you but:
  10. it transforms from harmless to deadly when you give it some ammo
  11. dont know about the real kits but those mass produced ones went from $15-40 on ebay i tihnk the store by me wanted $80 for it but import stores always jack up the prices
  12. i really like the statues but i could never bring myself to buy them because of the paint job, and ive never painted a resin kit, and paying someone to paint them for me would be too espensive
  13. near as i can tell they were basicly massproduced, prepainted statues, not kits, i saw them all over ebay at one point and in a few local hobby stores
  14. i rly like it but it rly isnt worth $80

  23. That's why (and I know a lot of you are gonna disagree with me) I think it's better that, for the sake of anime's reputation in the US, this one DOESN'T get released uncut. Fandom's only just recently succeeded in living down the early glut of "tentacle hentai" titles that appeared in the early '90s leading certain pundits and religious figures to condemn all anime as that. In this country, the activities in those cut scenes are so repellent (and that includes me -- I have zero interest in seeing that sort of crap, and I'm no prude) that the mere mention that someone's depicting them, even in a form that does not put a real minor at risk, will set off a firestorm of anger, one that could possibly be loosed at anime in general. Think if certain talk show hosts (like Bill O'Reilly) hear about this. We'll never hear the end of it -- and we've already seen that they command a large and vocal audience who can boycott and perhaps force some retailers to drop anime. And please, just because Federal law says it's OK, don't think that means that every locality will. Remember that a certain ADV title had to be edited because what was shown was declared obscene in three cities out of the entire nation. And if they find it even being mailed through their city (stopping momentarily in a post office en route to its final destination) they can arrest the seller and buyer -- even if neither reside in that locality -- and try them in the city's own court. what anime was this?
  24. If this is the truth: anime containing sex between minor and an adult, it should not be shown or brought into US. (BTW, that is sick!!!!!!) I do not know anything about this anime. However, US law prohibits any media displaying or showing sex with minor, usually known as "Child Porn". If the company distributing the anime is located in the US and/or company associated with having this anime release should get ready for enforcement activity by customs and/or postal boys/gals I hope that non of this is true (Anime showing sex with a minor. If in fact it is true, I hope at least non of the MW members will support and buy this anime. they claim that everyone in the movie is over 19 but its obvious that there are minors, one of em is even 12 years old but since animated sizes and proportions vary alot, its hard to prove the age of character
  25. the only things that were edited out was the sex, perosnally i tihnk its better edited
