Nah, we're talking about the 'spirit of giving in to our every whims and showering us with the model-y goodness that we demand of you' sort of spirit.

That looks more like the shoulder hinge that allows the arm to flip down for Battloid mode. Either way, it's still ugly as sin. And looking at those screenies, it seems I was mistaken. Perhaps the RPG art has poisoned my mind. (even if it does look awesome) -

Question about wireless mice. I got a Microsoft Wireless Optical Keyboard/Mouse combo for X-Mas, and while the keyboard is a dream compared to my last one, the mouse has... issues. After I installed the software, the computer had a hard time registering any click of the buttons. So then I restarted the computer and now all button clicks are good, but the centre scroll-wheel is acting up. I roll, the screen doesn't. I roll again, and the screen only rolls at the end of the motion. Now pissed off, I mass-roll in frustration and the darned thing picks it all up and scrolls me passed the part I wanted. Any advice other than a 12-lb lump hammer? -
Which subcontractor? You subbed out the vaccuum-forming parts?

Now that I think of it, it seems to me that that cockpit is a little too large for the toy. All the line-art I've seen suggests that the cockpit is smaller than that. But I'm still eagarly awaying my FedEx delivery (delayed due to snow, grr). But it shall soon be mine! -
I wouldn't say pales per se, but I will say that each Joker is ideal for the movie he's set in. Nicholson's Joker was the psychotic over-the-top version of the Joker, while Ledger's Joker was more the psychotic world-destroying variety. They each fit their respective movies perfectly, since you'd never see Ledger's Joker pull a 6' revolver out of his pants and blow a flying aircraft out of the sky with it. Just as you'd never see Ledger's Joker use the buzzer ring quite as perfectly as Nicholson's Joker. Apples and oranges. It's like Gotham City. Burton's Gotham is ideal for his movie, just as Nolan's Gotham is better suited to the real-life story it's set in. And the less said about Schumaker's Gotham, the better.

Given the glut of Macross and (now) Mospeada toys on the market, I'd like to chime in with some love for the Master's. 1) Hovertank. I's needs a good version of this in a decent scale. NEEDS! 2) Ajax space copter. See above text. 3) Various designs of the Southern Cross armours. There's just so much of the storyworld told in those armours that it's a shame they haven't gotten more love yet.

I'm watching the CollectionDX review on YouTube and holy crap! This Beta is gi-frickin'-normous! Either that or the review has hobbit-sized hands, but still...! -

No, you have to beg first -
I had utterly zero interest in seeing this film... until I learned that Ryan Reynolds will play Deadpool. That alone piques my interest

The question is, can it be entertaining crap and enjoyable sucktatude? 'cuz it is possible for a movie to both suck balls and yet still while away the hours of my life. At least that's what I tell myself whenever I watch the new Knight Rider... -

Except that the Beta is supposed to be blocky. 'Brick with wings' sums up its design philosophy quite nicely CMs was too wonky in my opinion. -

That's really not surprising, given the way toy factories in China have been collapsing like houses of cards. -

According to RT.com, the MP Beta will be shipping in the first week of December. As that's starting right now, I suspect we'll be seeing emails in our inboxes of payment and shipping notices. -

Anything invovling the Colonial Marines. Both of the these films (and even the books) come down to one or two people battling on against the hordes. Set the next movie in the future and use the CMs to give the squishy humans a better chance and presence.
