Just checking between episode 2 & 3 to see if I had triggered seeds of envy
The seeds have landed, sprouted, taken root, and are now growing at an alarming rate. Never fear that you've failed in THIS project.

You'll just have to ignore the muttered groans and muffled threats from the rest of slaving away at hot places of work, drinking nothing but 2-cent coffee or barely-filtered water.
I was gonna mention that.... but my place of work has AC... and wonderful coffee and water, though I never touch either.
Bah! I work in a hot, sweaty, grimey factory with none of those amenities. I hate you all

I like this a lot for the same reason I enjoy the Tommy Yune artwork: It's a modern, updating interpretation of the characters, not just another copy of the original style, which I find to be boring by this point in time.
-
And Jim Carey and Pam Anderson.....
Can't forget about Alex Trebek.

It takes about an extra four months for us to get anything new in, and it's not limited to "mainstream" geek stuff like the Alternators.
Try living up here in Canada. We've only just now gotten Silverstreak in the stores, let alone any of the others.

Sweet! Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!

Is SACs dub as lifeless and listless as the movie's voices?

you realize that even at 1.48 scale, the sdf would be several storys tall like, jusdging from the size of a VF-1 1/48 i'm estimating in the 10 story range.... PROBABLY more
Bah! Why insist on using logic on a perfectly good fanboy idea like this?

Hmm... I've run across this preorder item in a few different places - the "Sue Graham" Shadow Fighter. Anyone know what this is?
Hey! Those guys are already taking orders for the Shadow!
Hey, Kevin. I want to preorder one too!
Preorders are coming soon.

Any idea when you might start taking payments for the Scott-type Alpha? I've got two on pre-order with you, and I've never been happier to send someone else my money

I love Long's artwork, especially his Robotech RPG works. They rock.
-
Then again, Ghost Rider should have his own movie.
He IS getting his own movie. It's been confirmed, but nothing more than that has been released yet.
-
Hey, DD rocked.

One 80s/early 90s series I never got the name of.... this guy and his female sidekick flying around in this futuristic flying wing, saving people, yadda yadda... the guy had a machine that could make masks, a la Mission: Impossible.... can't for the life of me find any information about it though...
It was called Human Target, I think. Pretty decent show, but I think it only lasted one year or less.

Hey, Super Force had its charms. One of the few "true" power armours ever seen on TV/movies.
M.A.N.T.I.S. was pure cheeze, but enjoyable cheese.
Tour of Duty rocks so much rocking that it's hard to gauge it's rockingness. Fortunatly, it's a daily show up here, so I can watch most of it over and over again

.... and I wonder what the next MPC will be...? you think they'll give us the beta right away, or send out a cyclone? or one of those tanks from southern cross?
I'd love for any and all of those options

The only reason that IMAI kit looks better is because it was painted by Jung. That's the thing about model kits, they only look as good as the artist can make them.

What? That little lump of plastic actually attaches to the pilot figure?
Either way, I'm really impressed with this toy. More pics!

Also the one thing that makes it less than perfect transformation is that the shoulder mounted antenna during Fighter has to be removed... oh well... that's fine by me..
What do you mean?
-
Now I just have to sit and wait.
That's the worst part, by far.

Sorry if I borrow your attention for one moment, but since the HG debates are here, I'd like to ask you guys is HG is planning on release Robotech The Movie on DVD. I know it was taken from Megazone and all, but I hapen to like the spawn as it is.
If this has been discussed already, I'm sorry. I'm not reading the gazillion posts whatsoever.
Thanks in advance, ppl.
I'd heard that it was even beneath Carl Macek's standards, and that he has actively opposed (as much as he can) a release. Coupled with the fact that 1) HG/Carloco no longer have the rights to Megazone 23 IIRC, and that 2) the film was a massive flop (it only was screened in Dallas and on a spaceship for a human and two smartass robots ) I doubt we'll ever see it released.
Good riddance at that.

Do you have any more pics of the Alpha?
I want more picture goodness so I can totally convince my credit card that preordering two from VE.com was alright and that it won't kill me

I agree with you on that on, Max.
