i dont like the fact that they didn't include the Alphas/Betas as part of the gameplay. Also, they didn't use a lot of the original sound effects (boosters, gun firing sounds, explosions, footstep sounds) and they should really ditch the remixing of original music and just use the real original music. The dorky running animations bug me, especially when side stepping, looks like they are skipping joyfully in either directions. Sucks that you cannot arm missiles in ride armor mode, would have been cool (or maybe Im wrong because I am only in the beginning of the game). Yes, it's better than Battlecry a little bit. I guess HG doesn't listen to fans. Jus got to add, Kin's avatar is way better than RT Invasion.

OMG, I finally got a chance to play RT:Invasion... Very dissapointed, and I got stuck between a wall and a rock which pissed me off even more. The running animation looks all dorky... I can't believe HG allows craptastic stuff like this from getting released... Thank goodness I didn't buy it, but wasted rental $$$.

Game comes out this week. From Gamerankings, there are mixed reviews, but not a lot. Wondering if it's worth shelling out $40. In the meantime, I will just play macross PS2, or finish up Burnout 3 Takedown....

I wanna see a new Macross game too from AM2... Vicious Cycles can learn a thing or two from AM2... The PS2 recreates the experience way better than Battlecry IMO. EGM reviewed R:Invasion, and it didn't look so good....

I just got RX178 Super Gundam, and the other week got the Ex-S Task Force Alpha. I really like these, far more sturdy than the MSIA series... Hehe, these can withstand abuse when handled!

I also got the urge to buy the Armor Only kit at F&S. Only 2 vendors had the Armor Only (1 for $45 and the other for $60), and Treasure Island Sports had the 1J+Armor only. I just said to myself forget it, and wait it out for later... Ended up getting another Gundam FIX Figuration, #0019 RX-178 Super Gundam, the weekend before was #0014 EX-S Gundam Task Force Alpha. Geez, this things are awesome figures, but pricey. I will just wait for the VF-0...

That VB-6 looks nice, I also like the Strike Rouge, and the Meteor Units for Gundam Seed, gonna get me 2 of those, and a 1/144 Justic...

looks like it's coming nicely... but still wish they had alpha/legioss & beta/tread playability.

imo, both Nintendo DS and PSP's graphics look great for handhelds... would be fun to play multiplayer with games like GT4 Mobile, Twisted Metal, and Armored Core... I think they're both good, I'f like to see more games for these 2 platforms, hehe maybe a mobile Macross game?

I am also going, with my other friends after class... going all 3 days too... Need some fun before finals...

My disaster was when the house was getting remodeled. My valks are on a shelf about 5 feet from the floor. The shelves underneath were filled w/ my gundams. It was a suprise, because I went to class in the morning. I come home, see the people jack-hammering away the bathroom, I open my door and see my gundams on the floor, and my valks piles on top of them.... Luckily, nothing broke...

I still have my 1/40 Orguss Orgroid... I bought it $75 long ago when I was younger at a comic book store that is gone now... Complete box w/ everything, but now I dont have the gunpod or the box anymore.

Did you get the DVDRip of this game? Sounds like it, cuz bin/cue's are never used for DVD images... Just burn with Alcohol 120% or CDRWin, should be fine...

Will I be able to get these codes to work with a USA machine (no mod just Flip Top) and a USA Action Replay? If not, will I need to get a Japanese machine and action replay to get it to work? I tried the codes with my GS2, and they work... Swap magic user have to load up GS2/AR first, load & save the codes, then load there swap magic disc, then swap in your Macross game... I started a new save with my other memory card, and got S rank in all missions using the codes... I am a bit disappointed, still no YF-19/21 or VF-0/SV-51

Only if you buy and use the cheap modchips and older models of the chips... The top quality chips don't burn out your system... Mine is living proof, have had mine for more than a year w/ a Messiah2 PRO, and absolutely no problems... Turn on, insert game, close tray, boot up...

if there is no VF-0 and Mac Zero valks, and the YF-19/21, then why is it listed in the Macross Compendium, and shown in the preview video that was posted here?

It would have been cool if they went through all the battles of the TV series in the game... down to the last episode where the SDF-01 gets destroyed... But it stops at stage13...

completed the whole game, and missing a grip of Valks... what have you guys gotten? VF-4 is pretty cool, but want the YF-19/21, VF-0, that other Macross Zero fighter...

So far I completed the DYRL portion... I am at stage 8 in the TV portion, pretty cool game.
